Well, I had planned this post for Friday, but everything has been a bit topsy-turvy with the way things are going in life. I am sharing a new print and cut from Karina Dresses today. I have been working with them for 3 years and am a big fan of their dresses and I will tell you why.
Hello friends!I hope you had a great weekend. Most of what I styled for today is from my closet, with the exception of my "pumpkin Spice" duster I bought at Target. I added this Fall layer to bring out this popular shade within my paisley dress.
Morning friends!Today I am featuring a red dress from the Karina Dresses Collection "All Work, All Play Collection." There were several prints that caught my eye, but you know Iove color, and who doesn't love a little red dress? I loved this red print with black and white floral print. I love this phrase instead of the All Work and No Play phrase that I just can't relate to. Let's face is All work and No play makes Jess a very dull girl! It's always good to have balance in life.
You know I love my Karina dresses! I seemed to have amassed quite a collection. I love the versatility, styles and no wrinkle factor. I am probably going to take this one on my vacation in October! Just roll it up in your suitcase and no ironing involved, I love that, especially if I am on a trip. This Fall Paisley print was an easy choice for me with its rust, orange, olive, burgundy and cobalt shades. I knew I had a lot in my closet to layer with this dress, so you will see it again, styled for colder weather. This dress is part of the Autumn in New York Collection with the print called "Cinnamon Coffee".
Morning friends!I thought we would have some fun and head out to another area of North Charlotte called Mooresville. I love main street Mooresville, with the antique shops, ice cream shops and diners, it takes me back to a different time. Love the old fashioned feel. We also had the best luck for this photo shoot for Karina Dresses.
Morning!You know, Karina and I go way back. I've made friends with Ruby, Megan, Audrey, and Katharine. If you don't know, they are all styles by Karina Dresses, a company I have worked with since a year or so into the blog. Their styles are made in the USA, and wrinkle free. I would have to say my best friend is Ruby, ( a wrap style dress) but the other girls are a close second! I can't pass up a pretty, large floral print and chose the Megan in Breezy Hill.
Happy Tuesday friends!I am pretty excited to get to share with you my take on "mommy and me" today, with Karina Dresses and my 7-year-old niece.. My sister, Sue joined us as well, as she is the "mommy" in this equation; I am the aunt. When I saw that Karina Dresses designed "The Playtime Collection", I knew I wanted to style this Mint Maritime patterned dress with my fashionable niece. We had so much fun!
Just the name of the print alone, is adorable- Lovey Dovey. When i saw the preview of this print from Karina Dresses on Facebook, I was in love! The soft light grey with pops of yellow flowers and white is adorable and can be worn with so many different colors. I chose the Katharine cut, one of my favorites, has a high, round neckline with cap sleeves. It also features an attached sash for the waist and a full, knee-length skirt. I also love the slightly above the knee style, for me as I am 5 foot 9. which I styled with accents of white.
