Atten-hut! DId I get your attention? Well, I am dressing in the "military style" today.. :-) If you didn't get a chance to read about the comfortable and stylish shoes from  yesterday's post on  Adrian Allen Shoes, do so especially if you are looking for a comfortable shoe for the Holidays! As we get closer to Christmas, I always tend to reflect at the end of the year about things in which I am grateful. I have really enjoyed getting to know people better on the blog, and enjoy the supportive environment it offers. I am looking forward to spending time with family, in Pennsylvania and having the puppies with us this time. I have always been big on Christmas, celebrating, enjoying Holiday food and drinks and giving gifts. You saw a few weeks ago my Post about Joseph Ribkoff, a premier Canadian designer that is sold at 1ereAvenue. I wore an eye catching lace red top and black slacks. Today I am sharing another look with you from Joseph Ribkoff, and the second look I styled from 1ereAvenue.

img_8948img_8949Hello ladies!Hard to believe September is coming to a close. However, here in NC it generally means a bit cooler temps in Oct to look forward to.  How was your weekend? Today I was in the mood to style one of my Karina dresses for Fall and I chose this orange-red-olive-coblalt-yellow Paisley wrap dress as my foundation. Paisley, not floral :-) The bright colors culminating in a beautiful print really caught my eye and I would be styling this throughout the fall with boots, booties and layers. I did try a jersey brown long sleeve top under the dress, but it ended up a bit bulky, and I decided to go for a jacket instead. Wrap dresses, I find are flattering on every figure, and I do love the ease of it.. a pin is necessary on the lower half., especially during windy fall days! I love a military look and i am looking for a pair of olive booties! ...

IMG_7380Hello Ladies and Happy Monday ( once Ive had my coffee)..Repeat after Me! I like neutrals yes indeed! ( I like neutrals yes indeed)Military jackets...just not in tweed (repeat)   ..   ( its too hot! :-)) just go with it!Like to know just how to style ( repeat)Read ahead ..might take awhile..Sound off.. 1..2..  Ha, Ok. I never said I do not possess a goofy sense of humour! Hey, I sing and talk to my dogs every day, right? I thought today I would change it up, as I like to do from time to time. Recently, I have worn stripes HERE,  this look, and more jeans. I know I have a feminine style, but there are days where I want to "dress down" but look put together and have fun with fashion wearing something different. I have had this military jacket from LOFT for years and haven't worn it much. I just decided, why not? I love the raw edges and the brass buttons, as well as the shape commanding a more feminine feel, not a boxy look.
