Good Morning Ladies! I was so thrilled to be able to go to the Influencers of Midlife Conference over the weekend, and I will be getting that post together soon. So, stay tuned! However, one of those wonderful ladies I met was Jessica, my contact through Soft Surroundings, and it was wonderful to talk and meet her in person and on a personal level. So, as a bit of a segway, I am wearing a very ultra soft grey toned leopard jacket, the Pasha Coat, from Soft Surroundings today, along with a beautiful, unique blue-grey leaf statement necklace also from the company.

 Christmas Time is here... happiness and cheer....always one of my favorite tunes, one that I would select to sing with my elementary choir too. This Friday, we leave for my moms, a 9 hour road trip, but so worth it to see my whole family. I'll share with you our time on the blog later, as I think about what to wear for the Holidays as well.I.can't resist faux fur. The feeling, the memory of grandma wearing it, the vintage style really appeals to me. When Soft Surroundings had me choose from the Winter Collection, I decided to create a glamorous Holiday look with a blush faux fur stole, a charcoal sweater dress with a drop waist ( Another drop waist dress I styled from Soft Surroundings) some bling, and some fashion forward mesh booties..

 Morning friends!Tomorrow is the day - we leave for San Fran and Wine Country! I can't wait to explore and will later be bringing you our trip here, on the blog. The linkup is still on. so do stop by! Today I am bringing you another Fall look  from Soft Surroundings.  I just love their soft garments, the styles and detail in their clothing. This dress, the Raffinato dress,  a soft, medium heather grey sweater dress, called to me from their Fall collection. I love wearing sweater dresses in the Fall and pairing them with boots/booties.  "The mastery is in the stitch work, as the sweater dress discovers European refinement in this shapely slip over.  Happy Turning Heads Tuesday friends!I am excited to share with you a look today from Soft Surroundings. I posted the Anais Maxi Dress and Slip as part of their Pre-Fall Arrivals, and now have several looks to share with you from their Fall line. Today, this plaid rust and brown dress, the Dorset Dress with a drop waist ,just caught my eye, as I don't have a lot of plaid in my closet, and it was time to remedy that!  Why not do some pattern mixing with my shoes, as I fell in love with these  Snakeskin boots.

Oh Soft Surroundings, you hit this one out of the park for me. Flowy fabric, button down detail, dark florals in gorgeous rich fall colors. Yes, Yes and Yes! I have been wanting to add some dark florals in a maxi or midi style for Fall, so when I saw this on the front cover of the pre-Fall catalogue and on the website, I fell head over heels!  This dress, the Anais Maxi dress can be styled in more ways that one, and you will see me style it again in colder weather. Is there such a thing as too many florals? No! I say! I suppose I am trying to make up some ground as I am not a gardener, like my mom, who has an enviable backyard surrounded by a beautiful garden with flowers surrounding the house. Instead, I have chosen to wear my florals, and today, I am featuring a dress and sandals by Soft Surroundings.

Morning! I hope you all had a lovely weekend.Ah, nothing like a tee-shirt dress. Who says you can't look smart, but dress casual and put together? The tee-shirt dress is AS comfortable as my nightgown, but that would get some funny looks in public! Instead, this Soft Surroundings rose pink tee-shirt dress ( the Laredo Dress) is perfect for a day out running errands, for an outdoor summer concert, or at the beach.  This is very casual for me, but in these settings I would wear this for sure.
