 Hello everyoneI hope you enjoyed the weekend.  I will tell you more about our vineyard trip this week, and the rest of the weekend was spent doing blogwork, and a sometimes needed rest day. A rest day can consist of marathon tv indulgence, as I was watching an excellent British show with Hugh Laurie, "The Night Manager." Very Bond-esque. Hello Ladies,Are you a stillleto kind of girl? Or do you wear flats? Perhaps you like a kitten heel like me.However, now one can have a happy medium.  A trend I can get behind, or should I say, "on top of". As you know, because of my medical condition, I can not wear a stilleto or a high heel. However, with this trend,  there are some very pretty and comfortable looking shoes with a 1-1.5 inch block heel.  EDS1Hello Ladies!Don't you just love the look of suede? The colors that brands are showing now in rich pine greens, rust, burgundy. I love the look of suede and am currently on the hunt for a suede dress or skirt. Finding a suede skirt that doesn't look like the size of a napkin, can be tricky for this girl, as I am 5 foot 9, and many skirts I am seeing are either short short, or long in length. So, with that said, what do you like about the look of suede? Is the trend right for you?

IMG_7733Hi ladiesI hope everyone had a great 4th of July. We stayed at home, had a great dinner, drinks, and worked to keep our little girl, Truffles, calm. ( If you have yet to read my blog: Truffles is shih tzu as it would be a silly name for a little girl!)Today I am wearing a shorts romper. Perhaps there are discussions on the internet about the inappropriate nature of wearing said garment over 40, but I don't usually listen to those "rules" and just wear what I feel comfortable or confident in wearing.

IMG_7201I wasn't so sure when I bought this yellow top that it would work with my complexion. Some yellows can make one look washed out, or dull. I do love the trend and have seen some pieces on the runway I absolutely adore. I decided to go full on with this bright yellow lace skirt, Besides, this is one trend I can get behind!
