IMG_5965 Happy Monday EveryoneHard to believe Christmas  has come and gone. All the preparing for it, and the excitement leading up to it can linger a bit, then the day is here and quickly over. However, we keep our tree up for a while, and also celebrate the New Year. My title refers to  Christmas Eve, when my husband gave me one gift to open. I know for many it is a tradition, and we do this on occasion. It was a Downton Abbey Christmas ornament of the car complete with Tom, the former chauffeur of the family.

IMG_5788Happy Monday LadiesI hope everyone has had a wonderful weekend as it gets closer to the Holidays. We have finally put up the tree, I have send my relatives and parents the gifts I wrapped, and have gone out a bit. When Black Friday came around, I did not go hog wild or break the bank, I am rather good with my budget. THis skirt did "call out to me" right off the bat. It was love at first sight. If I had been at Ann Taylor, I would have said, we saw each other across the room and it was love from the start. The fine knitted detail of the lace with an offwhite color and flecks of gold, was GOING to be in my closet!

IMG_5662Happy Wednesday,Yes, it is that time of the year, where either you are scrambling to get the turkey and all of the fixings together, or you are going to a relative's house to visit and bringing some wine and side dishes. Yea! We are the latter this year, so we are out to find some great bottles of vino and pick up some of my husband's favorite corn souffle at our Fresh Markets for tomorrow.  I saw this top on Ebay and quickly fell in love.

The day after Thanksgiving is when we usually put up the tree.Today I was in the mood, for pairing my wine faux skirt from Zara, with my vintage inspired burgundy rose sweater.

Sometimes after a weekend away, I have to physically recoup, but also sometimes I just like to stay at home at relax, take my epsom salt baths, have some wine, listen to music. This weekend, we mostly stayed home, but went out once to lunch at a place I have mentioned a few times here, Port City Club.

IMG_5392Hello LadiesI mentioned that my husband, me and the pups were going to Asheville, NC to visit and see their 5th Annual Film Festival. We have attended 4, and make it an annual event for us. Asheville, NC is an artsy town, where music, dreadlocks, films, art, craftsmanship, all co-exist. We had a great time, and I would like to share it with you!

IMG_5278Hello Ladies!It was a nice day today, and my parents were visiting( when we took this picture), so we went to Corkscrew, one of our favorite wine bars and took them out. Along with a delciious fruity, but dry Malbec, we got sushi and some chinese food.I was in the mood for wearing a print with this vintage looking one-of my favorite skirts of mine, so this is it!
