Florals For Mother’s Day
Good Morning ladies! If you have been following the blog for awhile, you know i am a "floral girl". I have always loved floral prints, as they are romantic and a lovely reminder of Spring. I do tend to choose medium to larger floral prints, not the tiny florals that remind me of grandma's afghan. That's just me. If you looked at my closet, you might think that stems should be intertwined in between clothes racks, as i have a fair amount of floral dresses and tops, ready to be picked to be worn. My mom used to have a pink and purple floral duster that i used to borrow in high school as the bold colors and print really attracted me.
Happy Friday Ladies!I hope you have had a great week. In honor of May being
Morning Ladies! It seems it was about time I got on the Gingham Bandwagon. I really do love the print, it was a matter of finding just the right style, cut and color for me. When I saw Kellyann and Jodie in their pink gingham tops, I was encouraged to look for some pink gingham myself! I do love the print- a girly, pink and white checked..a feminine take on a classic style. When I spotted this top on Last Call, I thought to myself, "That's it!" a soft- blush pink with white gingham top with ruffles in a cold shoulder style.
Good morning Ladies!I hope you had a wonderful weekend! I'll tell you about mine but first want to talk about one of my favorite styles for Spring and summer, what I liked to call The Safari Look. Call it Neutrals with Straw Bags- but that doesn't have as much of a ring to it does it? One of my favorite styles conjurs up images of a Safari holiday or trip, or one I suppose it would look like. ( I have never been on one!) Neutrals, linens, light fabrics, with structured or flowy clothing, accompanied by a bamboo straw bag or clutch, neutral leather sandals or espadrilles is the vision I have in my mind.
Happy Friday friends!Nothing like taking on a light topic of the day! I have been thinking about this, as i get older, and what gives me a sense of purpose in my life. I had written a post on
Hello friends!Ahhh, there is nothing like that first sunny day, with the warm sun shining and the boats at the marina looking ready to make their way out on the Lake for the day. It was warm, 80 degrees, when we decided to do a photoshoot near The Cottage, and Lake Norman. When we first moved here, it felt like we were living in a resort. I think everyone tends to "take for granted' sometimes where they live, as you get accustomed to it, day to day. But I am a water girl, and i love looking at the pontoon boats and impressive house boats while sitting at Grandma Trudy's house drinking some refreshing Sangria or Cabarnay that day. I decided to style my new sandals
Morning!i have always been a fan of the khaki-olive tropical looks. And Pina Coladas... yes, pina coladas! No Hawaiian shirts for me ( or hubby) but just neutral earth tones and soft prints with a tropical vibe. I also love a great straw bag. I recently bought a straw circle bag from Poshmark I will style soon on the blog.

After 10 years with EDS, I am finally able to wear beautiful shoes with a supportive heel and cushioning It is utterly exciting, as the limitless choices of shoes and sandals continues to tempt me!I am happy to bring you another pair and style from
