Happy Turning heads Tuesday ladies! We had a fun weekend at "Woofstock", a music, food truck and brewery event in NoDa, an arts district near where I live. I couldn't pass up a doggy event! There were several Dog Rescues there, waiting for adoption, as well as the entrance fee going to support the charity. You all know how much i love dogs, as it was a good time!  As for Fashion, today, I decided to take out my plaid vest, ( plaid is hot this season!)  and style a look around it.

Hello Ladies,I hope you had a great weekend! We spent most of it out with the pups, enjoying lunch and going to a music, food and arts festival during the weekend. We did this photo shoot at Birkdale, a shopping and food center near our house. I call it 'Barkdale' as it is very dog friendly!  Today I am talking about RED, a popular trending color for Fall, and how i styled it.

Happy FridayI hope you all had a great week! I don't know about you, but I LOVE Fall fashion. I get excited over wearing boots , booties, textures and layering and keeping aware of Fall Trends in shoes and boots. It doesn't mean I love them all, but it is fun to incorporate a trend here and there and that goes for shoes/boots as well.

Happy Monday friends,I hope everyone had a great weekend and is staying safe where you are. It was supposed to hit our area in NC but has traveled west of us. I had been looking forward to seeing Stephen King's movie "It" as soon as I saw the preview. I wanted to see it for my Dad, as he was a big Stephen King fan. He read most of his books, so we were going to see it and I was going to toast my Dad! I love psychological thrillers, and the story looked great, even if this girl might have her hand in front of her face through part of the film! Great movies generally come out this time of year, as does the Fashion! ( like the segway?)

I think back to college where I would wear a plaid mini skirt and matching jacket one year, and black pants and a Metallica tee the next. I really didn't have a defining style. I have always felt fashion should be an extension of yourself, a place to express myself in a creative manner. I do think it wasn't until I felt more comfortable in my own skin where my style became more apparent.

Hi Ladies,"No really I have enough shoes- Said no girl EVER. " Have you ever heard anyone make this remark.?  This does not apply to husbands.. just to the women who wear shoes. Ten years ago, my closet consisted of sneakers and some flats with orthotics. At the beginning of my Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome journey, I had so much sensitivity and pain in my legs that the thought of buying shoes was not on my mind. I just wanted something that didn't kill my feet. I am happy to say, that now I have more of a shoe collection, ones that are comfortable shoes AND stylish, and much of the pain in my legs and feet is dissipated, making me able to wear a variety of shoes.  I have one word for you ladies- Jambu.

Happy Monday friends!I hope everyone had a great Labor Day weekend as we get closer to heading into Fall. I love the cooler weather we have been having in NC.. the oppressive heat is over! Fall is my favorite season and it always has been, as I love the colors of the leaves, fresh air, cooler air , camping among other things and warm and cozy fashion.. ( not to mention pumpkin spice everything!) But as we talk about Fall fashion, let's look at some of the Trends. Are you a trend setter? Or do you avoid trends as you don't...
