Hello Friends!Well, next week I will be attending my nephew Corey's wedding in Asheville, NC. My mom rented a house for the family for the week, and we are going to be relaxing and enjoying the mountains. I am really looking forward to it! Asheville, an artsy mountain town has always appealed to me, with it's laid back mellow nature and fun artsy shops. We have much planned the week prior to the wedding, but my sister, mom and i have all discussed what we were wearing.
Hello Ladies,I hope you all had a lovely weekend! We have had some cooler days, so we did a bit of walking on the green way with the pups. One thing I love about the development in which we live, there is a wooded 1 mile circular path behind our house. First thing in the morning, I through my hair back in a ponytail and walk out the door. Prior to EDS, I used to run around the trail 4 times for 4 miles, but since then i enjoy a brisk walk. I also ordered my first Pumpkin Spice Latte :-)I'm excited to share with you today, one of my favorite companies, if you don't know by now, Karina Dresses. Frankly, I have a ton of color in my closet, but few LBDs.

Embroidery has been a trend popular since this past Spring, even though i remember a pair of jeans i wore as a middle schooler with embroidered flowers on them. i suppose i have been on a bootie "kick" ( pun intended) recently, so I'll be sharing booties with these 3 fabrics.

Hello Ladies,Boy, it seemed to me that last week flew by. I hope you all enjoyed your weekend. Before I get into talking about comfy shoes, I want to talk about the movie, "Mother!"we saw over the weekend. Well, first, it's 2 hours of my life I won't get back to play with Gibby and Truffy. :-) Second, since Darren Aronofsky, the writer and director is Jennifer Lawrence's boyfriend, I think he asked if she would be in the film.and she didn't want to turn him down. Wow, it was so "in your face" it felt like a 2 hour long metaphor. i understand symbolism and allegory. .Success and Fame vs. Family and Love. Oh well, you win some and you lose some! Note to self; check Rotten Tomatoes. ;-).It is still pretty warm here in Charlotte, with a cool down hopefully, by the end of the month. Happy Friday friends!Boy do I wish I had more pictures that i could share with you of my hair back in the '80s. Yes, i was into heavy metal, I played a Stratocaster guitar, and I had BIG HAIR! I know there was never a back yard bonfire, so they have to be somewhere at my mom's house. I do remember when I was of drinking age, having a can of "Coors light" on my leg, my red electric guitar making it's debut, me all in black and a head of big curled hair in the picture. I was cool. ( or at least i thought that at the time). Remember Aqua-Net? I think I owned stock in the company!
