Hello FriendsIf you have been reading the blog for a bit, you probably know I enjoy wine. I won't label myself a "wine snob" but I am particular and know what I like. Do you remember the first time you tried a glass? I have memories of the good ole Box 'O Wine - namely Franzia, that we used to bring to parties or enjoy ourselves, because we like Zinfendal  and it wasn't expensive! When you are in college, I don't think you get to be so picky! I thought I would write a bit of a different post today...

Hello Friends,Well, I had a nice but busy weekend. We did get to enjoy the 82 degree temps on Saturday as we made our way to a new Vineyard. I hope to write some posts on our vineyard hopping throughout the summer as it would be a great way for me to note certain wines and how we enjoyed each place. Hello friendsI hope everyone had a Blessed Easter. We also celebrated my girl's Truffles Birthday, as she was 8 on Saturday. She still acts like a puppy! Saturday we went to a new vineyard for us, Magdelina Vineyards. I am sure by now you know I like to try different wine and vineyards here in the NC region, and I hope to bring you some posts on our visits. Let's move on and talk about Mother's Day!

 Hello friendsHow was your weekend? We went to a new vineyard, Shadow Springs Vineyard, in the Yadkin Valley, to try their new Spring offerings. Gibby and Truffles met Buddy, a 15 year old poodle who was the mascot at the vineyard and so sweet. We tasted 7 wines and ended drinking a bottle of Viognier with a slight oaky taste. It was a beautiful afternoon, and I hope to bring you some posts on various vineyards in the area.Glad you are here for Turning Heads Tuesday! I received this hand painted  scarf as "Thank you' for the work I have done from Uno Alla Volta and I knew I could put together a look with it that would feature the scarf and be complimentary in color. What a nice treat! I wasn't required to do a post, but I thought, why not style this beautiful scarf straight away!

Happy Friday friends!Its that time of year when you start to look for new items for your existing closet. I have been loving the selection of sandals that are out, from espcadrilles, to trendy sneakers, milinimalist and statement sandals. 10 years ago I couldn't even think I would be able to wear a two inch heel, wedge or anything other than a cushioned sneaker due to EDS.So, I am thrilled to have the opportunity to wear comfortable, yet stylish shoes and having the selection that is out there. Hello FriendsThis has to be one of my favorite skirts. I don't usually gravitate toward stripes, but I love the sides of this skirt designed at an angle to draw the eye inward. I've bought a couple of  striped spring items, but they have to have some unique detail that attractes me to it.One can never have too many pencil skirts! They are classic and perfect for any shape. I found this skirt on Poshmark from Ann Taylor for a mere $20 and it was like new! I also bought this Zara Victorian-esque like top in black lace from Poshmark....

 Hello friendsNow I think we can say that Spring is officially here. We have gotten some rain over the weekend, but the temps are getting warmer. I thought I would wear one of my favorite Floral blazers and style it with grey denim for one take on wearing a floral blazer. I will share some other ways I will wear this blazer over the course of the season in case you are in the market for one.
