Hello friends!Thank you as always for being here for Turning Heads Tuesday. Today is a special as this is my 3rd year of blogging and I am just amazed at so many things about this medium and the friends I have made. First of all, I wanted to dress up for this celebration and am wearing my red lace Tadashi Shoji dress that I wore to Fashion Week several years ago. I thought it aprapo with Valentine's Day coming up, and I don't get as much of a chance to wear this dress , with the exception of certain holidays. I wanted to get my pups, Gibson and Truffles in on the act as they are very special to me as well, so I thought why not?! Kind of a mommy and me post, with puppies, especially with Gibby dressed in his black biker jacket!
Hello Friends,How was your weekend? Ours was pretty low key, just doing some things around the house, hanging my dad's photography and trying to keep up with and get a jump on "spring cleaning"! Sundays I go to the gym and I having just got the "go ahead" to lift weights, seems that I went a bit too "gung ho" the last few times. I truly don't notice it at the time.. but 2 days later my shoulders are telling me to "cut it out!" Well, I live and learn.

Hello friends!Friday is here already! I have a couple of fun things coming up on the blog that I look forward to sharing. Some Wednesdays are our " Double Black Diamond" evenings where my husband and I like to go to Firebirds, order appetizers and enjoy the half priced Pineapple Martinis! I love dry wines- more of a red drinker than white, but when it comes to cocktails I like a bit of sweetness. We also go there when I decide to pop in one store at the mall... two birds..
Hello Friends,How was your weekend? I was busy cleaning house, going to watch the Steeler Game at the local watering hole, cheering on my home team. We hung some of my dad's photographs that I received at Christmas. My mom put them on canvas, as a memory and now they adorn the bedroom and hallway. Yesterday was tough, as it was just last year...this time.
