Happy Monday FriendsI hope everyone had a great weekend. After an abundance of rain, and a wooded trail that resembled a small lake, we have finally be blessed with some warm sunny days over the weekend. Of course we took full advantage, and went to Morgan Ridge, a dog-friendly vineyard, on Saturday. I will be writing about this vineyard and wines Friday on the blog. Now, lets talk about fun statement sneakers! Does it seem like everything is a statement these days? Statement sleeves, statement jewelry, bags, sandals, sneakers.

Hello FriendsI couldn't resist this dress when I saw it on ASOS. I bought this months ago and it has been sitting in my closet just waiting to make an appearance!  I stick pretty well to my monthly budget or otherwise I might have bought a few more lots of  embroidered tops and dresses. I have one other one I look forward to sharing. I thought this dress was unique with its higher sheer neck and embroidered sleeves in red and pink. The scalloped sleeve trim and bottom trim on the dress appealed to me and I plan on styling this sheer portion other ways... gotta be creative!

Happy Monday friends!Well, it is officially summer! Kidding. But here in Charlotte it almost feels like it is! 85 degree days and sunshine have been the weather for the past 4 days.  I love the sun as it does help my mood but the heat can hold off for a few more months! This weekend we enjoyed just sitting out by Lake Norman bringing the pups and having lunch out. I've been having a hard time health wise struggling with coming down on one of my pain medications. I won't go into it only to say that this illness certainly does challenge me both physically and mentally at times.

Hello Friends,Well, I had a nice but busy weekend. We did get to enjoy the 82 degree temps on Saturday as we made our way to a new Vineyard. I hope to write some posts on our vineyard hopping throughout the summer as it would be a great way for me to note certain wines and how we enjoyed each place. Hello friendsI hope everyone had a Blessed Easter. We also celebrated my girl's Truffles Birthday, as she was 8 on Saturday. She still acts like a puppy! Saturday we went to a new vineyard for us, Magdelina Vineyards. I am sure by now you know I like to try different wine and vineyards here in the NC region, and I hope to bring you some posts on our visits. Let's move on and talk about Mother's Day!

 Hello friendsHow was your weekend? We went to a new vineyard, Shadow Springs Vineyard, in the Yadkin Valley, to try their new Spring offerings. Gibby and Truffles met Buddy, a 15 year old poodle who was the mascot at the vineyard and so sweet. We tasted 7 wines and ended drinking a bottle of Viognier with a slight oaky taste. It was a beautiful afternoon, and I hope to bring you some posts on various vineyards in the area.Glad you are here for Turning Heads Tuesday! I received this hand painted  scarf as "Thank you' for the work I have done from Uno Alla Volta and I knew I could put together a look with it that would feature the scarf and be complimentary in color. What a nice treat! I wasn't required to do a post, but I thought, why not style this beautiful scarf straight away!

Happy Friday friends!Its that time of year when you start to look for new items for your existing closet. I have been loving the selection of sandals that are out, from espcadrilles, to trendy sneakers, milinimalist and statement sandals. 10 years ago I couldn't even think I would be able to wear a two inch heel, wedge or anything other than a cushioned sneaker due to EDS.So, I am thrilled to have the opportunity to wear comfortable, yet stylish shoes and having the selection that is out there.
