Turning Heads #Linkup- Styling a Karina Paisley Wrap Dress with a Military Jacket and Red Block Heels

Hello ladies!Hard to believe September is coming to a close. However, here in NC it generally means a bit cooler temps in Oct to look forward to. How was your weekend? Today I was in the mood to style one of my Karina dresses for Fall and I chose this orange-red-olive-coblalt-yellow Paisley wrap dress as my foundation. Paisley, not floral :-) The bright colors culminating in a beautiful print really caught my eye and I would be styling this throughout the fall with boots, booties and layers. I did try a jersey brown long sleeve top under the dress, but it ended up a bit bulky, and I decided to go for a jacket instead. Wrap dresses, I find are flattering on every figure, and I do love the ease of it.. a pin is necessary on the lower half., especially during windy fall days! I love a military look and i am looking for a pair of olive booties! ...

Happy Monday Ladies,I find it hard to believe we are getting near October. Charlotte will experience Fall eventually, as the end of October presents a cooler air and some changing leaves. As much as I like wine, I look forward to some of the Octoberfest festivities in the area. We also have a trip planned for October I will tell you about later. Today, I am bringing to you , my collaboration with Eco-friendly company
Hello LadiesI hope everyone has had a nice weekend. Today's look I was excited to style. Again, looking ahead to NYFW ( my mom is going, I can't this year) and some of the Fall Trends, this Pumpkin Spice/Rust shade is hot on the runways! Mmm. My husband laughs as each fall I get drawn in to everything "pumpkin spice." Candles, bake goods, coffee.. lattes ( of course) and now clothing. This shade is indicitive of Fall, its rust colored beauty can be complimented by so many shades: olive, black, mustard, camel, browns., metlot , burgundy Another trend that would work quite well with this dress, is wearing a turtleneck under the dress. This is quite popular on the runway, and can take a dress from another season, into fall/Winter. If you missed my NYFW LOOK #1 inspiration: Fall Florals, click
What I love about Fall, of course the fashion, and also the cool temps and fresh air. I am also a fan of hiking and camping. Being in nature is one of the most calming and relaxing things I love to do. I think it all stems back from my Girl Scout days. There are so many gorgeous mountain areas and state parks in North Carolina, one must take advantage of the waterfalls, the scenery and treks. When I walk in the woods, there is a calm peacefulness, no worries or concerns for that moment, other than to enjoy my surroundings.
Hello LadiesToday I have collaborated with the brand,

I decided to wear my F21 jean jacket as I emulate the look from the runway, and also because you have never seen me in a jean jacket! The vintage brooch inspiration is taken from fellow bloggers, Suzanne of
