IMG_5803Hello LadiesHow is everyone holding up? Are you one  to not let the holiday "madness" get a hold of you? I went into Charming Charlie today and felt the need to leave immediately! No, it wasn't that I came across a necklace with more colors than the rainbow, but rather, so many people, clusters of teenagers and ladies who looked hungry to find that "perfect " thing for the aunt, sister, themselves, mother etc.I think this is why I try and shop early, online and get it done in a reasonable time. Granted, not everyone lets the crowds bother them, but I find that I can't stand that long to begin with, and second, I don't like the hurried feeling I get this time of year. So, instead we took the dogs to "Barkdale" in their santa suits and they had a fun time, in a little heated room while we ate pizza and had some delicious Malbec. I hope you have enjoyed the Holiday looks I showed including the red outfit I wore HERE

YOu have seen me in many of the dresses by Karina. THis is the Patti dress, one I have shown recently, and one of my favorites.Hello Ladies! You all know I am a Karina dress Ambassador and how much I love the dresses. Karina dresses are vintage inspired, very comfortable, and have a dress to fit Every Body! They have a Fit Guide and help each woman look their best. What I like is that the dresses are MADE IN the USA, and that I support them as they reflect my style as well as many of yours.Link up: Fashionista MommaKarina...

IMG_5353Hi Ladies,Happy Monday. I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving weekend. ( or weekend in general). I got to enjoy some turkey, and some of the traditional Thanksgiving fare with a bottle of Red Guitar, an inexpensive Tempranillo, which is one of my favorites. Today, I am wearing one of my favorite hats, as I love the cloths, the 20s style hat. I have about 3 of them so far, but here in Charlotte, there is a limited time to wear them.

IMG_5662Happy Wednesday,Yes, it is that time of the year, where either you are scrambling to get the turkey and all of the fixings together, or you are going to a relative's house to visit and bringing some wine and side dishes. Yea! We are the latter this year, so we are out to find some great bottles of vino and pick up some of my husband's favorite corn souffle at our Fresh Markets for tomorrow.  I saw this top on Ebay and quickly fell in love.

IMG_5370TGIF Ladies!Well, this time last week, we were seeing movie shorts in Asheville. THe great thing about shorts is, well, they are short> If you really like the characters, sometimes you want it to continue, but if the short drags, then it is at most 12 minutes!! We had an excellent group of movies to watch, many love stories, unique time travel, quirky endings and the like.

IMG_5392Hello LadiesI mentioned that my husband, me and the pups were going to Asheville, NC to visit and see their 5th Annual Film Festival. We have attended 4, and make it an annual event for us. Asheville, NC is an artsy town, where music, dreadlocks, films, art, craftsmanship, all co-exist. We had a great time, and I would like to share it with you!

IMG_5002Happy Wednesday Ladies!I mentioned on Monday, that while staying in Bryson City, NC, the main reason was for us to go on a 4.5 hour ride on a 1940s rail car on the Great Smoky Mountain's Railroad. We took a lot of pictures, so I hope to give you an idea of what we experienced on the railroad, and I had to wear my 1940's style Karina Dress called the Megan for the trip. What could be more apropo? If you didn't get to read about our combined over night stay at the BNB McKinley Edwards Inn, read about it HERE.
