I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!i just couldn't resist this cute gingham sundress with the shoulder ties and longer length. It reminded me of the blue and white gingham "Dorothy" wore in the Wizard of Oz. So on that note, I had to include my Toto, my little boy, Gibson!
Today my friend, Kellyann, This Blonde Shopping Bag, and I are stying Gingham looks. Gingham is one of those prints that just is so classic, it doesn't go out of style. It really is fun when you can collaborate with another blogger friend and share your inspiration. So go visit her blog too, I 've been very fortunate to get to know her this year.I bought this top from Mango ( yes, most things I am buying are from there) as I loved the fuller sleeves and subdued mustard yellow gingham print, a bit different from the traditional navy blue or red gingham.
Next week, I will be sharing a gingham look, along with my friend, Kellyann, just one of several that I have from my closet for Spring. Something about this look evokes warm and fuzzy feelings from me, as I think of this vintage pattern. It makes me think of that picnic tablecloth in red and white squares
Morning Ladies!It seems it was about time I got on the Gingham Bandwagon. I really do love the print, it was a matter of finding just the right style, cut and color for me. When I saw Kellyann and Jodie in their pink gingham tops, I was encouraged to look for some pink gingham myself! I do love the print- a girly, pink and white checked..a feminine take on a classic style. When I spotted this top on Last Call, I thought to myself, "That's it!" a soft- blush pink with white gingham top with ruffles in a cold shoulder style.
