Happy Monday friends and Happy New Year!( Did you notice I increased the font size? :-)Back to business in the New Year. I am sharing some of the fashionable gifts I received from Christmas this week, including this fine knit red sweater. What day is today?I feel like singing The Answer my Friend, is Blowin in the Wind, The Answer is Blowin in the Wind.. as you can see it was pretty darn windy out today, but we made do. It is still pretty warm in Charlotte, as the temps don't really get a bit chillier here end of Oct beginning of November, but that isn't going to stop me from wearing fall or fall like clothes! Transitional. I was inspired by Mary Murnane's winter white look HERE and thought, yes! I could do this now, as I am not wearing a heavy sweater and I love a winter white look. I think the key can be in the details or adding fall textures to the color. I have added my Enzo Angiolini tweed pointed brown flats here that were a great Ebay find, my Louis Vuitton bag, and  a pair of vintage brown earrings I found on Etsy last year. Last night was a night where we tried a new wine bar, and I was finally able to wear my Magaschoni cashmere emerald sweater out! I purchased it last year at Bluefly, a favorite on-line shop, as the green emerald was calling out to me.( I am starting to notice a favorite phrase!)  I was told, by many people I encounter that all red heads should own green in their closet. My cafe colored  sweater dress was begging to be worn, and so I decided to pair it with different shades of brown. This cashmere sweater dress is so soft and yet it needs something to add to its taupe-ish color.  I know deep inside we are all animals, or is it cavemen/women. We hunt, we gather, and hunt some more .. for the deals that is!! This actually was a lovely day after eating brunch at a very busy restaurant. We decided to take a little stroll and pop in some shops, although I did show restraint.
