Happy 2022 friends!I took a much-needed respite after much driving Northeast for the Holidays. I hope you all had a wonderful Holiday.We had a lovely time and of course, we took the pups as my in-law's love seeing them.In the New Year I am wearing a few new items, and I will be talking about my personal goals, including blog goals for 2022 later in the week. You all know I Love Color but can also be captured by white with a neutral palette.*Absolutely! I love a nice clean white look, bright and modern, that look where the white stays white and there is no sign of dripped coffee on your clothes, or it has faded to a "winter white." So, I must take advantage of my new white items before I  eat, drink, or lay in the grass for that next summer concert. :-)

I love vintage or vintage looking items, and found these super cool laced up leather vintage boots in Asheville last year. I love the cognac color and pointed toe and wanted to play on that color scheme and vintage look.  I thought apropos for the fall season.  Yes, another brooch of mine! :-)

IMG_5965 Happy Monday EveryoneHard to believe Christmas  has come and gone. All the preparing for it, and the excitement leading up to it can linger a bit, then the day is here and quickly over. However, we keep our tree up for a while, and also celebrate the New Year. My title refers to  Christmas Eve, when my husband gave me one gift to open. I know for many it is a tradition, and we do this on occasion. It was a Downton Abbey Christmas ornament of the car complete with Tom, the former chauffeur of the family.
