Happy Monday friends,I hope everyone had a great weekend and is staying safe where you are. It was supposed to hit our area in NC but has traveled west of us. I had been looking forward to seeing Stephen King's movie "It" as soon as I saw the preview. I wanted to see it for my Dad, as he was a big Stephen King fan. He read most of his books, so we were going to see it and I was going to toast my Dad! I love psychological thrillers, and the story looked great, even if this girl might have her hand in front of her face through part of the film! Great movies generally come out this time of year, as does the Fashion! ( like the segway?)
Morning Friends,I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday. I had my mind set that we could get some of the Christmas decorations up, as my niece would be helping with the Christmas tree. I also bought lighted garland for the banister with cranberries intersperced throughout with a large Christmas bow finishing the look. Yesterday, I styled a look for an office party or get together for the Holidays. I will be sharing more Holiday looks throughout the season.Today, I decided to share my love of texture and color with a look for Fall.

Hi Friends! Well, it is officially summer and it is HOT! in NC. This is the time of the year that there are usually two choices: air conditioning or pool! I hope you had a great weekend. We spent part of it at the Charlotte Symphony outdoor concert, where it was Broadway night. I loved the songs from "Grease" as I had the album and remember acting it out with my girlfriend. ( I was Sandy, she was Danny :-) ). They also played songs from Les Miserables, one of my favorites being, "I Dreamed a Dream". Today I am talking about bright summer colors.
Hello Friends!I hope you had a great weekend! I thought today I would share one outfit that I put together for the 4th of July. I will be sharing several looks on the blog, if you are considering what to wear for the occasion. If you are not one to wear American flag earrings, or just want a more subtle approach to the Holiday, I put together a look with pops of red. I am wearing a blue and white sundress by Loft, ( years ago!) and added pinches of red with my nail polish ( Rock the Runway: Essie Couture) lipstick, and clutch and earrings.
