Happy Tuesday friends! It is finally getting a bit warmer here in NC. with balmy temperatures in the 50s! I am basically a cold weather "wimp', even though I grew up in Pittsburgh. I also used to teach "LifeSports" at a private school here, and just dreaded the winter, as the school didn't have a gym... the outdoors were the gym, and I would dread having to teach flag football to 40 kids in the cold. If you are starting to get in that "Spring frame of mind" check out yesterday's post, as I styled a tunic/lace dress from Joseph Ribkoff.  Today, howecer, I  am bundled up  with my Chicos finge leopard wrap, a surprise gift they sent to me before Christmas.

Hello Ladies!Happy New Year! I hope you all had such a wonderful Holiday with your families and enjoyed Christmas day. We spent the Holidays in Harleysville, with my in-laws. The drive was a bit longer.. and we are lucky to have pups that do nothing but sleep and just hang out as we make the long drive. They have more patience than i do when waiting in traffic! We had a lovely time and I enjoy going to their church for Holiday service, as my sister-in law conducts a bell choir, and they are big on music with piano, trumpets, tuba, flutes and guitar. Today I am just sharing the first look of the Year-2018 and will be sharing how to's for styling outfits on the blog, as well as those important midlife topics. Friday, I hope to share some of my goals -both personally and with the blog, as I take stock of the year and what I would love to add/change in my life and on the blog. Excited about what 2018 has to come!

Good Morning Ladies!I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and are looking forward to the coming Thanksgiving holiday. My hubby and I, along with my sister and niece, went to the Daniel Stowe Botanical Gardens to get into the spirit of the Holidays. The lighted trees, in red, blue, green, yellow colors around the Gardens, along with a clarinet group, playing Christmas standards started to get me in the mood. Do you go to places such as these and come home with extra vigor and motivation for decorating? Earlier in the day, my hubby and I went to lunch and I wore this look to lunch.

Hello Ladies! It's Thanksgiving week and I always get excited for this time of year. Not because I am a good cook ( hubby's dept) but because I enjoy getting together with my family and beginning to decorate for the Season. My sister and her family will be coming to our house this year. Not to mention, I am a new Aunt! My brother and his wife, just had a baby..Aedan Hunter. So excited for them! He looks like a "Mini-Me' of my brother and tiny! So, with all of these fun Holiday activities that we may be attending, I have been wanting to find some jeans that I love to wear, for more casual looks.

Happy Monday Ladies,How was your weekend? We kept it pretty low key as I had blog work to get caught up on. I was a bit behind this week as I have dry needling and it has me down for a day or two to rest. We did go for a walk with the pups on a green way in town, a nice change of scenery.  Today I thought i would talk about two staples that will transition to Fall and are pieces that I will get much wear from in my closet. And loo, Laurie, I used hot rollers on my hair! ;-)
