Hello Ladies,After seeing all of the cute shirt dresses out there, and my fondness for the safari or looks with khakis, brows, other neutrals I wanted to put together my first look with my Khaki shirt dress, styling it several ways, this week and then next. The espadrilles I am wearing were a pair from Zara that truly caught my eye.. I have been tempted by all of the cute styles out there. The dress was a steal, and I bought it online last year. I am making a note, after the fact, that a comment was mentioned about it wrinkling for them, as she had the same dress. Yes! So, if you sit in a car, and want to go somewhere or take pics in it, I know this sounds silly, but I bring Downy "Wrinkle Releaser" and spray it after I get out, then smooth it out. I iron it before I wear it, but yes, it is tricky!
Hello friends!Thank you as always for being here for Turning Heads Tuesday. Today is a special as this is my 3rd year of blogging and I am just amazed at so many things about this medium and the friends I have made. First of all, I wanted to dress up for this celebration and am wearing my red lace Tadashi Shoji dress that I wore to Fashion Week several years ago. I thought it aprapo with Valentine's Day coming up, and I don't get as much of a chance to wear this dress , with the exception of certain holidays. I wanted to get my pups, Gibson and Truffles in on the act as they are very special to me as well, so I thought why not?! Kind of a mommy and me post, with puppies, especially with Gibby dressed in his black biker jacket!
hello friends!Is this time of year going fast? I always feel like I have to scramble to get it all done! Anyway, gifts are bought, and I look forward to seeing my family at Christmas. ( plus the 4 pups we will have there) I shared my Karina dress with faux fur Holiday look last week, my Going to a Holiday show attire will be Friday and now want to share another Holiday dress I will probably wear on Christmas Day.

Hello Everyone, and Happy Monday.I promise you I am not complaining. I am just stating a fact when I say it was 96 degrees when we took these pictures. I am a woman who spends about 10-15 minutes on makeup, having it down to a science and basically figure it is going to melt away on my face by the time we get to take the photos anyway. I love YSL's Eclat Primer, as it does an excellent job of making my foundation ( Dior Nude Air) glide on smoothly and evenly, but as temps get hotter, I use this and a dab of foundation, but find that a lipstick is what holds up for these warmer months. I am going to be featuring shorts this week on the blog, and if you are over 40 and want to wear shorts, just do it! There are plenty of lengths and styles to choose from.Today we went to Childress Vineyards, just my hubby and I , as they do not permit furry friends on the premises, and frankly it was too hot for them. The grounds are beautiful and there was quite a crowd. A duo played "oldies" with guitar and upright bass, in an indoor pavilion, and we enjoyed the peach/strawberry Sangria an ice cold refreshing drink. So good in the summer, I need to make my own!
