Do You Spend More Money as a Fashion Blogger?
Happy Monday!I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! My girl Truffles, ( girl puppy that is!) turned 9 on Sunday! She still acts like a puppy, running around each morning and playing with her plush toys. She is gentle and so loving, and we give her some special food for the day, but she isn't big on the party hats! I adore both of them-her and Gibson, as they are the best companions and so fun to be around. I don't know if I have told you this, but when we were thinking of chocolate names for her ( she had even darker brown hair) we thought of Hershey, Truffles, Rouche ( Ro-shay), you know those gold covered wrapped hazelnut balls ? We laugh now as Roche sounds very pretentious and she is most certainly NOT. hehe.I thought I would bring up a topic which was discussed at the lunch table when we went to the Good Housekeeping/Jambu event. I know many people don't like to talk finances, but this was a question i think I wondered about when I first became a blogger. How do i continue blogging about fashion if I have to purchase new outfits all of the time?
Morning ladies!Did you ever feel like the sun had something personal against you? I went out with the dogs for a walk, and it was sunny for about 5 minutes, and then hubby and i went out for a photoshoot and the 18 mile and hour winds, and cold became the weather of the day. Well, despite the cold and wind, I styled this look featuring my new Jambu
Hi Ladies!. As I slowly add new pieces to my spring wardrobe, I purchased this delicate chiffon scarf with its lovely mix of olives, plum, pinks, lavender and blue, as i styled it previously, in this port -
Just the name of the print alone, is adorable-
Hello Ladies!Well, this weekend we had some sun in Charlotte! Since I took some days to recuperate from my NYC trip, I was then ready to get out of the house! I thought i would put use my new scarf from Charming Chariles with it's blue, lavendar, pink and olive tones to use. I wanted to style an outfit around it, and knew my Ann Taylor dress, i had purchased from Poshmark, a few years ago, would go perfectly!
Morning friendsDespite the delay, ( 2 additional days, which I will write about on Friday)I made it back to Charlotte, after the Noreaster and the amazing blogger/JAMBU event I attended in NYC! I had been anticipating this event for a few months, after being invited to the City with 4 other bloggers, ranging from their 20s to 60s. I am utterly exhausted feeling like I was run over by a truck, but wanted to post about my experience. Last time I was in NYC, was a few years ago for Fashion week, and it was a whirlwind trip. This time, I was going to meet other fashion and travel bloggers along with part of the Jambu team. I was a bit nervous, but never have too much of a problem meeting and talking to new people. ( Thanks mom!)
Happy Monday! Ill mostly be writing this week about my amazing trip to NYC ( tomorrow) with Jambu and 4 other bloggers. I came home Friday, after 2 days of a delay because of the snowstorm in the North. So, I am exhausted, sore and feel like a walking zombie but ... I wanted to put together a post about 4 jackets you would want to own for your Spring wardrobe, because winter weather can't last forever! I suppose "Need" is a strong word, my hubby would say, so let's just say, jackets that would look great mixing with your Spring wardrobe! :-)
