Turning Heads Linkup- Chicos – Tropical Linen Poncho and White Eyelet Trim Crop Jeans
Morning! When looking at Chico's selection on-line, I came across this watercolor linen poncho that I couldn't resist. The beautiful bold colors in a painted style caught my eye, along with the images of sailboats and flowers in a blue green sea. I love the floaty, light style; all I need is a tropical, fruity, drink in my hand! The image and colors projected from the easy linen poncho would be fun to wear in the summer months. I have been on a linen kick lately, and will be sharing some other pieces I bought for summer.
Morning friends! We have had some extra warm weather as of late, and i love to see the sun out! It really affects my mood, and feels quite good on my muscles. Have you been shopping for summer? I had this floral jumpsuit from Zara for about 6 months, as I bought it doing a rare Zara sale for a whopping $25 last year. ! I had been watching it for quite a while, but never clicked on buy. Finally, with nothing left but a few smalls, and at that price, I bought it and have been waiting to wear it with excitement!
Morning,I mentioned in a recent post-
Morning!I am still on the road, making my way back to Charlotte tonight. I am exhausted from the trip, it took us 10 hours to get to the Burgh. and probably the same to get back. The pups were so good, just sleeping all of the way. We had a surprise birthday party for my mom, as myself and my siblings have been planning for awhile. we brought my mom back to Charlotte, for some relaxation and to hang out with my sis and I. You can read a bit more about it tomorrow.Pastels for Spring is something that seems to be popular every year. I decided to wear a soft pink shell, but bring it to life by adding this colorful watercolor skirt. If you are going to wear a pastel and have fair skin, this is one way of adding some "oomph' to your look. Your eye is brought to the colors in the skirt, even if the top is more subdued.
Morning!I CANT TELL YOU HOW MUCH FUN I HAD AT THIS CONCERT. ( but I will, as it is a blog, after all! )It was 1984, I was 16, and one of my favorite bands was playing at Pittsburgh's Civic Arena. This was the first time I saw Journey, with Steve Perry at front and center. So, needless to say, the Def Leppard/Journey Concert brought me back, when we went to see them play this weekend at the Spectrum Center in Charlotte.I was curious to see the various age groups and wonder who the fans were of these two awesome bands. I am and always will be a rocker chic.
MorningWell, a great time was had at the Journey/Def Leppard concert! I wrote about it and will feature what i wore and more about the concert in my post for Turning Heads Tuesday tomorrow. It was one of the most fun evenings I have had in awhile! So amazing! I had so much fun, I danced most of the night and needed Sunday to recoup! :-)Today I am "shopping my closet". As tempting as it is, especially as a fashion blogger to buy what's new, I have some "older" favorites in my closet, waiting to be worn. Its been awhile on the blog that I wore a skirt, other than my jean skirt. i enjoy a pretty skirt, but I am more apt to wear dresses in the summer. I did decide however, to pair this yellow mesh, flouncy top with my pink and chartreuse, yellow pencil skirt from Ann Taylor.
Happy Friday!Last year I wrote a post about
Good Morning friends!Well, the last past summers, gingham print has gained even more popularity. I too, have been influenced, by all of the pretty gingham dresses, blouses and shoes i have seen throughout the blog world. I shared my pink ruffled gingham top here in this post, and today, I am wearing one of my favorite off the shoulder cobalt blue large patterned gingham print dress. Beside it being a large scaled gingham, what else is making a statement in this look? Well, my new cobalt floral earrings, of course!
