Good Morning! I hope you had a great weekend. If you haven't heard about Soft Surroundings, or you missed my first collaborative post with them, read Soft Surroundings Review. I love the products they offer, from clothing, to shoes, beauty and skin care offerings, as well as bedding and items for home. What else stands out with Soft Surroundings, is the softness rating. Who doesn't love soft fabrics? I mentioned, I used to have more leg sensitivity and look for fabrics that are breathable and soft to my skin. There is a 1-3 rating, 3 being the ultimate softness. My collaboration with Soft Surroundings today enabled me to choose some soft pastel colors for my early Spring look.

Yes, I am wearing blue, lots of it! Teal, navy, periwinkle and varied blue tones make up this pretty pattern by
Morning friendsAs the weather warms up, I wanted to make sure I styled another one of my velvet pieces. This jacket was from Ann Taylor and a steal on Poshmark. I was on a spree there for awhile, with the on-line thrift store, but lately have just been browsing, as I need more spring blouses and next season's clothes. I am ready for some Spring shopping! It was a grey day, as we went out to one of our favorite wine bars, but beforehand, a photoshoot!
Morning ladies,Well tomorrow is Valentine's Day and I decided to wear another Valentine look. I thought I would talk about what i am wearing and also let you know it is my 4 year Blog Anniversary! I had mentioned in a prior post, that it has been 10 years since I had been diagnosed with EDS, and 4 years ago as i began to write this blog. At the time, I thought it sounded like a fun hobby. I didn't have a ton of expectations, only to meet other ladies with a similar interest in fashion, and to enjoy being creative. I needed my mind to go somewhere other than to the pain I was experiencing. Today, I thought I would discuss what i have learned in 4 years of blogging. Just a little teaser, I'll be attending a Blogger event in NYC in March, so in the near future, I will share what brand and the exciting time we have planned!
Good morning ladies!Leopard is one of those prints that is so fun to wear, and I consider it a neutral. Pair it with solids, wear with stripes, color or other neutral tones and it is always so stylish. I have really got to loving it over the past several years as it seems a popular print with bloggers. Some leopard can look cheap or cheesy, so you have to look at the material or the style of product you are choosing.
Hello Friends,You know I love Karina dresses. It is no secret. They are stylish, fun and don't wrinkle. I am trying to think when I last saw my iron board. This paisley dress with pops of coral, pinks , red and fuscia was just the dress to style for Valentine's Day. You can always wear red if you like, but I love thepaisley print and adding touches of pink for a feminine look on this day.
Good Morning Friends,I have to say I find winter to be a tough time of year. The warm heat in the Spring and Summer shining down has a positive effect on my muscles. Heat relaxes and has a calming feeling for me. In the Winter, I feel the joints in my hands stiffen and more knots seem prevelant, causing pain and stiffness in my body. I have mentioned the possibility of having SAD ( seasonal Affective Disorder) but have never checked on it with my doctor. I know this is not the only solution, but wearing bright colors or many colors can help your frame of mind. Instead of reaching for the black, grey, dark tones we might gravitate toward this time of year, try mixing bright colors or try color blocking.
Good Morning friends,I hope you had a great weekend!First, I want to say, thank you for offering suggestions for topics you are interested in hearing on the blog. I have made note and plan on posting some of those suggestions in the coming months. We went and saw Phantom of the Opera in Charlotte last night, and it was SO Good!! I love the music in Phantom, and the baritone voice of the man who played " Phantom" is something i could listen to all of the time. I love it! The seats were wonderful, I knew the music well and it will be a memory I cherish. I won't go into what some wore to the theatre, only to say Sports jerseys and plaid shorts are probably not the best bet! I think it is still an evening out where people dress up to see the theatre. Now.. on to the matter at hand.. wearing white jeans in the winter....
