Turning Heads Linkup -Soft Surroundings – Fall Collection- Plaid Dress and Snakeskin Boots
Happy Turning Heads Tuesday friends!I am excited to share with you a look today from Soft Surroundings. I posted the Anais Maxi Dress and Slip as part of their Pre-Fall Arrivals, and now have several looks to share with you from their Fall line. Today, this plaid rust and brown dress, the Dorset Dress with a drop waist ,just caught my eye, as I don't have a lot of plaid in my closet, and it was time to remedy that! Why not do some pattern mixing with my shoes, as I fell in love with these Snakeskin boots.
Happy Turning Heads Tuesday!I have today, the second bootie I am sharing from the Jambu
Hello Friends!Thank you for being here for Turning Heads Tuesday! Oh my gosh, I can't tell you how stressed I was last week with the blog site going down. It was down all weekend and was going to take until Wednesday to restore! My data center and hosting site made mistakes and 1,000 sites were down, that they had to restore! I just don't have a ton of patience with technology, but there was nothing I could do. Hubby is in IT and he made the transition easier when there were glitches Wed morning. Anyhooo.. hopefully no more problems for awhile! Let's talk about LEOPARD LOVE!
I LOVE statement earrings, and jewelry that speaks for itself. I have such a fondness and appreciation to for artists who work by hand on their creations. Let me introduce you to this wonderful artist- Diana Ferguson, who hails from Phoenix, Arizona, where she hand makes her beautiful, original "works of art" . I'll be showing you how I styled her Enchanted Gardens earrings, the ones I selected from her
Happy Turning Heads Tuesday!Well, it seems I took Labor Day quite literally and had a day of cleaning the house. It's ok, just had to be done! Its one of those staples that I love to wear. It took me over a year to find a jean skirt I loved. I'm picky! I also wanted one to the knee and loved this sort of retro button down the front style. Because it is too hot right now for jeans, I chose the next best thing.,
Morning friends!By now, I imagine you have heard of Soft Surroundings? I have collaborated with them before
Morning Ladies!Sometimes i think I am an "Old Soul". I am not one to say my era is better for this and this, but I do love older swing and Big Band music. Nothing like the sound of a Big Band Orchestra to get your ready to dance. When hubby and I heard The Glenn Miller Orchestra would be coming to town, we were ready to Stop, Drop and Roll.... to get our tickets! We did however, just order them straightaway on-line. I have always loved jazz, swing, big band, particulary when I went to the School of Music for college. Later hubby and I would take swing dance lessons, which were so fun. One of the first Big Band songs i remember having on a 45 record was "In the Mood." But what was I 'in the mood" to wear?
Morning friends! It's HOT. H-O-T! This week here in Charlotte is unseasonally hotter than it has been over the summer. Let's put it this way, I may have been smiling as I do for photos, but my body was pouring sweat like an new born infant crying for his mommy! The blaring sun and heat, along with the high humidity, made it challenging as I thought about how my hair was sticking to the back of my head. I think you get it, HOT. I took this orange Zara shift dress out of my closet as I haven't worn it on the blog in awhile and I love the bright colors- the orange reminding me of the heat eminating from the sun- as well as it being a bright, rich color that I love any time of the year.
