Morning friends!I thought we would have some fun and head out to another area of North Charlotte called Mooresville. I love main street Mooresville, with the antique shops, ice cream shops and diners, it takes me back to a different time. Love the old fashioned feel. We also had the best luck for this photo shoot for Karina Dresses.
Good Morning friends!I recently went to a fun, fashion and media event in Charlotte, hosted by Charlotte Seen. This event was a precursor to Charlotte's Fashion Week in the Fall. As a media event, I went to enjoy a summer fashion show, write about it, as well as meet some of the ladies from the "Faces of Silver"campaign, and book by world known photographer Ben Winkler. 
Morning Friends-Hubby, pups and I decided to take a trip down to Freedom Park for this photo shoot. It is near one of the more popular green ways and often where my hubby walks the puppies while I am in PT. Not fair, I know.. me getting needled while he enjoys the outdoors! Anyway, I have had this Zara linen off white shirt dress for a few weeks and wanted to put together a look with neutrals. This week is all about whites and neutrals on the blog. Is there such a thing as too many florals? No! I say! I suppose I am trying to make up some ground as I am not a gardener, like my mom, who has an enviable backyard surrounded by a beautiful garden with flowers surrounding the house. Instead, I have chosen to wear my florals, and today, I am featuring a dress and sandals by Soft Surroundings.
She stared at me from across the computer screen. Bright red flowers adorned her and the ruffled accented sleeves just made her more adorable in my eyes. I am talking about my new dress! Yes, I was browsing the Zara site as I often do several times a week, and saw this dress. If I keep going back to look at something, with interest, most often it is something that calls out to me. With a plentiful closet, this is how I am buying clothing these days, I HAVE TO LOVE IT- and I love it! and... there were a couple of birthday celebrations over the weekend too.
Hello friends,I realize tomorrow is the 4th of July. For a subtle look for 4th of July see yesterday's post. I've also included some links to former year's 4th of July outfits. Happy 4th friends! I am wearing stripes ;-) We tend to stay home and sit on our deck, keeping Truffles and Gibson company, as my girl is very afraid of Fireworks. Mom and I were reminiscing about how the loud booms! at Dormont's Fireworks display,( in Pittsburgh) when I was little would make me cry! We will just sit out on the porch, with the pups, glass of beer or wine and may see some behind the trees, cuddling Truffles as much as we can, as she shakes. I think most pups are afraid of Fireworks!I am not sure how you feel, but I love to find companies that have unique or handcrafted products. When Bellorita reached out to me, I was captivated by the hand carved and painted drawings on their home page. I browsed, looking at each design of the purses and clutches they sold, finally deciding on a koi fish with bubbles represented by interspersed white pearls on the bag.
Morning friends!We have had some extra warm weather as of late, and i love to see the sun out! It really affects my mood, and feels quite good on my muscles. Have you been shopping for summer? I had this floral jumpsuit from Zara for about 6 months, as I bought it doing a rare Zara sale for a whopping $25 last year. ! I had been watching it for quite a while, but never clicked on buy. Finally, with nothing left but a few smalls, and at that price, I bought it and have been waiting to wear it with excitement!
Morning,I mentioned in a recent post- Not Interested in Shorts? Try a Denim Skirt for Summer, yet I also mentioned that I do enjoy wearing shorts from time to time in the heat. I bought this pair of white denim shorts from Loft last year, and it was time for me to get them out of my closet. In a previous post, I wrote about wearing yellow for your skin tone, and I just love it! It such a cheery, upbeat color for summer.
