some control! :-) I have a few in my closet, a trimed tank is white lace, a white corset top, polka dot blouse, and a few more, but i am sure I will add one or two more beyond this style this year. It was love at first sight with this top... the scalloped trim and eyelet design just won me over. It is light , in cotton, and perfect for a casual or dressy look. For reference, it is a size 4, and roomy, purchased on Mango.
Morning!I CANT TELL YOU HOW MUCH FUN I HAD AT THIS CONCERT. ( but I will, as it is a blog, after all! )It was 1984, I was 16, and one of my favorite bands was playing at Pittsburgh's Civic Arena. This was the first time I saw Journey, with Steve Perry at front and center. So, needless to say, the Def Leppard/Journey Concert brought me back, when we went to see them play this weekend at the Spectrum Center in Charlotte.I was curious to see the various age groups and wonder who the fans were of these two awesome bands. I am and always will be a rocker chic.

Hello ladies!I've just been dying to wear some yellow and my new shades!I knew it was time to take out my lemon print top! Doesn't it remind you of Spring/Summer? I bought it last year after seeing it on another blogger. Makes me think of a cool glass of lemonade in the summer, or kids selling at their Lemonade stands! ( they still do that!- but inflation has made a glass of lemonade -$1 :-)) I do like that I can wear this top on or off the shoulder too.I am wearing my lemon top with my new 
Hello friends!I hope you all had fabulous Mother's Days! I am only a pet mommy, but did send my mom a gift and card. Plus, she is coming to visit next month! I am looking forward to it. My outfit today is a neutral casual look, worn with the new top I bought about a month ago from Express. Last year, there was a 'corset trend'. - belts, tops, etc. I saw the lace up style of this tee and thought, yes! If i am going to wear a tee , its gotta have a cute design or some detail that i really like. So, I bought it in white too... :-)

Morning Ladies!It seems it was about time I got on the Gingham Bandwagon. I really do love the print, it was a matter of finding just the right style, cut and color for me. When I saw Kellyann and Jodie in their pink gingham tops, I was encouraged to look for some pink gingham myself! I do love the print- a girly, pink and white checked..a feminine take on a classic style. When I spotted this top on Last Call, I thought to myself, "That's it!" a soft- blush pink with white gingham top with ruffles in a cold shoulder style.
Hello friends!Ahhh, there is nothing like that first sunny day, with the warm sun shining and the boats at the marina looking ready to make their way out on the Lake for the day. It was warm, 80 degrees, when we decided to do a photoshoot near The Cottage, and Lake Norman. When we first moved here, it felt like we were living in a resort. I think everyone tends to "take for granted' sometimes where they live, as you get accustomed to it, day to day. But I am a water girl, and i love looking at the pontoon boats and impressive house boats while sitting at Grandma Trudy's house drinking some refreshing Sangria or Cabarnay that day.
