Hello Ladies,It is that time of the month, where myself and other ladies of the Stylish Mondays group get together and style a theme. This month the theme is Ladies in Red for Valentines and for heart health in February. I myself am a red lover, yes my hair is a given, but I also love to wear red. It is such a bold and striking color!

I was so thrilled to be able to go to the Influencers of Midlife Conference over the weekend, and I will be getting that post together soon. So, stay tuned! However, one of those wonderful ladies I met was Jessica, my contact through Soft Surroundings, and it was wonderful to talk and meet her in person and on a personal level. So, as a bit of a segway, I am wearing a very ultra soft grey toned leopard jacket, the Pasha Coat, from Soft Surroundings today, along with a beautiful, unique blue-grey leaf statement necklace also from the company.

That decision was solidified after I tried a cute red one on when we went to Francis Ford Coppola's Vineyard. I could try on some of the props, and I went for the beret. Hi friends!Mama's got a brand new bag! :-) I love nice handbags and have a bit of a collection that I enjoy. One color I was missing in my collection was red. I think I had looked this Fall for red bags until my eyes turned blood shot. ( ok, exaggeration) but I am picky on style and quality. I mentioned to hubby I would like a red bag- and over Christmas he surprised me with this beauty.- The Prada Vitello Daino Shoulder Bag. The mid-sized bag with leather bows and Italian leather was love at first sight!

Happy New Year!I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and New Years. We enjoyed ourselves at my moms and it was a bit of family Christmas Chaos, but in a good way! Dogs, kids, hours of opening presents, and lots of great food and family time. One of my gifts is this rust teddy bear coat that I love! I have looked for these coats for awhile and this color, with the larger lapels was so pretty! I love it. It is lighter than some of the faux fur leopard coats I have looked at, perfect for the NC winters.
Christmas Time is here... happiness and cheer....always one of my favorite tunes, one that I would select to sing with my elementary choir too. This Friday, we leave for my moms, a 9 hour road trip, but so worth it to see my whole family. The feeling, the memory of grandma wearing it, the vintage style really appeals to me.
