IMG_0239Hello Ladies! So here were are at 2016, and what I feel to be the slowest time of the year. I do though enjoy the cold, bundling at night with the pups in their little round fur balls, or lying by the fireplace with hot cocoa in hand. This is about the time I may actually be able to wear my winter coat out, and realize that perhaps I don't need 3 or 4 coats here in Charlotte, because it only gets cold enough for one maybe 2 months out of the year. Only a few weeks ago was it almost 70 degrees, but has now dipped to about 50. I soon hope to share with you my vintage inspired Boden pink coat, as it is finally getting cold enough. My closet has more leather jackets than wool coats due to this climate, but I could not resist this vintage swing coat in leopard.

IMG_0155Hello Ladies! Happy Holidays and Turning heads Tuesday. It was relaxing and a break that I needed, I am glad to be back to 'see" you all, and your fashion. I will be sharing some blog goals later into the New Year, and also sharing some of the new fashion items Santa brought.  One is this Rebecca Minkoff Jungle Green Love bag. It is Love indeed! Speaking of Love, I must inundate you will Gibson and Truffles Santa pictures. Why not right? Today's look is a bit more casual for me with grey jeans, clog boots but a touch of "jess" with the antique beaded neckline, brooch and a pop of color with my new bag. However , today I am sharing with you something new, or perhaps unexpected when you think of my shoe collection. I am reviewing and styling Sandgrens Swedish clog boots! Lets just say I feel a woman can not have too many boots! ( or is it shoes?)  I was contacted and read the website and was impressed with the history and amount of detail that goes into each pair of shoes. Quick! We are going to try something, what is the first thing that comes to mind when I say the word, "clog". Let's try a game of stream of consciousness. For me, it is wood. 8 yrs old, open back. I was trying to picture the last time I wore clogs and I was able to find a picture of me when I was about 8, wearing a pair of clogs with a strap on the back of the open heel. I was smiling, so I must have enjoyed wearing them then. When Sandgrens Clogs contacted me,  and after I reviewed he website; I was able to see that there were many great styles of clogs and clog boots that were modern and trendy, in great colors and workmanship, much more than the open back clog that we often think of. I had to show you the day I went out with a skirt as to what they look like with pattern tights as well as jeans. I also loved that this art was "in the family" and generations have and continue to work at the factory.

IMG_0043IMG_0042Hello Ladies!10 more days  until Christmas! I am like a kid when it comes to Christmas Day, minus the usual getting up at 5 am to see what Santa brought me. No! Since Gibby and Truffles do not know any better, they do not pat me with their paws in the morning,  saying "Mommy, Mommy, SantaPaws came! TIme to wake up!" I put them in their Santa Suits and we make our way downstairs. We make it a leisurely morning, brew the coffee, have the smell of pastries or bagels in the air, and take our time. We do not make it arduous and open one gift, tenderly picking at the paper as if to save it, but we don't exactly tear in to the gifts not knowing what each other was given!! The pups do have their own stockings which resemble a puppies face and they are ready when I put the stockings on the floor to stick their whole head in to find the puppy treats. I do love giving gifts! I need to master the art of wrapping a bit more, but the bar was set high by my mother in law! I have always been excited for Christmas and giving gifts. I love decorating the tree, and over the weekend we went a bit wild, and Michaels going in for two items like gift bags and tape, only to leave with a cartful of garland, ribbon for the tree, ornaments and more.

Hello Ladies,Today is My Refined Style Linkup, happy to host and bring you my collaboration with JORD watches. I have collaborated with them before HERE, wearing my favorite Cora watch and was pleased to work with them again. I love the beautiful stylings of their #woodenwatches and I loved the Rosewood style I am sharing with you today. This cherry colored watch along with the natural wood grain and stunning cherry watch face inspired me to put together this outfit I am wearing today. The plum, red, burgundy families are all very popular colors and I wanted to incorporate this pop of...

IMG_9861Hello LadiesWelcome to #turningheads Tuesday!Ha! Got ya! Didn't I? You ladies know me by now. Would I be the one to go gray ? I know many ladies  that look great with gray or white hair, but my long hair and pale complexion just wouldn't cut it! My sister and I reminisced about our next door neighbor, when we were very young, going next door and having her answer the door, only to see a very old woman with stringy, long gray hair. As small kids, she scared us, and we were convinced she was a witch! Now, let me just say that this post today is about me wearing shades of gray. I have seen this as a color that has been quite popular this season, and I always loved various grey tones, with a fondness for charcoal grey.

IMG_9836Hello ladies!Happy #Turningheadstuesday ! Are you all planning for the Holidays? This year we go to my sisters and will be celebrating the Thanksgiving Holiday with her. We bring the pumpkin pie and wine. Lots of memories with Thanksgiving. Usually growing up it was the big table, the little table, lots of food,  getting tired, and football. Hearing my dad during the Steelers Game a few blocks down the street, Beautiful fall weather. Food. More food.

IMG_9793IMG_9784Happy #turningheadtuesday! LadiesGlad to see you here. I had a good time going out with the pups and hubby , this week and we took photos, even though I thought I was going to be blown away! Who needs fans when the wind is blowing at 65 miles an hour! Well, my hair went  here, there and everywhere. The meal was so good though! It was great to get out and I enjoyed a Malbec with a delicious portobello mushroom, roasted red pepper, pesto, and Guyere cheese sandwich on Chibatta bread. So.. tasty! I love my veggie sandwiches.! I had to laugh though as we were the only ones sitting outside with the dogs at 4:00 in the afternoon. I admit I am a wimp when it comes to wind and cold, but here in the South, it is nothing like my hometown of PA, so I dont complain!
