Hi Friends!This weekend was the first weekend of cooler weather. When these pictures were taken it was in the 90s, so I didn't layer just yet. This Mango dress caught my eye after I saw it on Hilda, and I had to snatch it up with its purple and green print, I am striving for dresses I can wear nearly year-round and layer as the weather gets colder.
Hello friends!The heatwave many of us have experienced is finally easing up a bit, however, when these pictures were taken, it was 95 degrees. I still want to wear my boots, perhaps as a way to rebel against Mother Nature, or just because I feel like it! When I styled this mustard top and gold jewelry, I thought to take out my gold/brown snakeskin booties c/o Soft Surroundings last year.

Hello friends!I hope you had a great weekend. Most of what I styled for today is from my closet, with the exception of my "pumpkin Spice" duster I bought at Target. I added this Fall layer to bring out this popular shade within my paisley dress.
Oh Soft Surroundings, you hit this one out of the park for me. Flowy fabric, button down detail, dark florals in gorgeous rich fall colors. Yes, Yes and Yes! I have been wanting to add some dark florals in a maxi or midi style for Fall, so when I saw this on the front cover of the pre-Fall catalogue and on the website, I fell head over heels! This dress, the Anais Maxi dress can be styled in more ways that one, and you will see me style it again in colder weather. This dress was gifted to me by Soft Surroundings.
Morning Friends,I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday. I had my mind set that we could get some of the Christmas decorations up, as my niece would be helping with the Christmas tree. I also bought lighted garland for the banister with cranberries intersperced throughout with a large Christmas bow finishing the look. Yesterday, I styled a look for an office party or get together for the Holidays. TGIF Everyone!I am getting ready to head soon to Asheville, as I mentioned. My nephew is getting married and our family is headed there to hang out for the week in a lovely rented house.
