Glamour in Gleaming Hues: Metallics and Lace Elegance for the Festive Season
Good day! I am giving you fashion inspiration wearing metallics and lace for this holiday season.
Monochromatic In Green for the Season Well, first I hope everyone had a lovely Thanksgiving here (in the States) and were grateful for many things. I know I would have liked to have been at my mom's house, but it wasn't realistically possible this year, due to my condition. We did, however, had a very nice evening with all the fixings, and my favorite, corn pudding. MMM...
With Winter and it's bare, cold chill, I wanted a look with texture and a dark, romantic vibe. This outfit I called "Dark Romance" for a Valentine's Day inspiration, as the brocade, lace and velvet lends itself nicely to this style.
I've always loved the look of Winter White. Classy and chic, I really love a monochromatic look in Winter White, so I I'm on the hunt for some trousers. Today, however, I wanted to style my cream antique lace skirt as it has gold threading throughout, adding a bit of a festive touch!
Hello Ladies!I hope you had a great weekend, I think fall is arriving here in NC,as it was 30 degrees last night. I just love bundling up with covers and cuddling with my pups when the weather gets chilly. Today I planned on showing you one of my favorite looks, which is taking a mostly black pallete, and adding a vibrant, rich tone to really make it stand out. When I first saw this skirt on Ann Taylor's site, it was love. The detailing in the lace, scalloping and the color had sold it for me!
I wasn't so sure when I bought this yellow top that it would work with my complexion. Some yellows can make one look washed out, or dull. I do love the trend and have seen some pieces on the runway I absolutely adore. I decided to go full on with this bright yellow lace skirt, Besides, this is one trend I can get behind!
