IMG_5662Happy Wednesday,Yes, it is that time of the year, where either you are scrambling to get the turkey and all of the fixings together, or you are going to a relative's house to visit and bringing some wine and side dishes. Yea! We are the latter this year, so we are out to find some great bottles of vino and pick up some of my husband's favorite corn souffle at our Fresh Markets for tomorrow.  I saw this top on Ebay and quickly fell in love.

IMG_5278Hello Ladies!It was a nice day today, and my parents were visiting( when we took this picture), so we went to Corkscrew, one of our favorite wine bars and took them out. Along with a delciious fruity, but dry Malbec, we got sushi and some chinese food.I was in the mood for wearing a print with this vintage looking one-of my favorite skirts of mine, so this is it!

IMG_5261Ah, it is one of those mornings! The sun is shining, the birds are singing, and ... my pup is staring at me to get up and get him his meal!! Who is the owner here? Anyhow, he does keep me on a schedule and I decided to was a good morning to wear one of my favorite sweater dresses. You will learn over the course of the next several months, that I love sweater dresses,because they are like nightgowns, are as comfortable, and I think they look pretty swell. ( Always wanted to say "swell" ) ( Too much "Leave it to Beaver" as a child!)

IMG_5180 Happy Monday LadiesHard to believe Halloween is this week, then the Holidays rush in.  Well I have always been a fan of faux fur, and got this sweater  years ago at Christmas time, even before the fur trend, I just love how fur makes me feel. Fur-Fabulous!

IMG_4889Hello LadiesI know that you are used to seeing scenes of the Lake, us out at various wine bars and backdrops of trees. Well, today looking at the radar early in the morning, was not going to be that way. A huge storm was coming our way, so even though we have a flash for dark days, we don't have anything to stop pouring down rain. Needless to say, the environment isn't as exciting, but the company was, my puppies, Gibson and Truffles decided to enlighten our indoor pics.

IMG_4738No, I am not in combat, did not just sign up for the military, and am not inhabited by another being that is not "Jess". I have  looked through so many blogs, and having seen so many of you in combat jeans/pants, I decided to step out of my comfort zone of dresses and skirts and buy a pair. In a sense I am in combat, trying to "combat bad fashion".

IMG_4692HAPPY WED!  It finally got cool enough to wear one of my fall outfits! I titled this "Snow Leopard" as it is the combination of the grey and leopard spots, as opposed to the tan and black Leopard that distinguishes it. So at 65-70 degrees, I just said, time to dress for Fall
