One staple I am happy to wear this summer is the denim short. There are plenty of lengths available, from these 4 inch denim rolled shorts, to a longer style closer to the knee. It's all about personal comfort. I bought these lighter wash jean shorts from Loft, when mom cam to visit and we did a bit of shopping.
I have been enjoying wearing whites, neutral shades, olive and more spicy colors this Spring season. I do love the Pantone Color palette for Spring. Today, however, I am wearing some bright colors as i was in the mood for some hot pink and floral shorts with yellow, navy and pink.
One of my favorite looks is an all white look for Spring and Summer. It may not be practical for some, but I just love how fresh and summery it looks on those hot days. Cool fabrics also help to keep this look fresh.

I will say it. I am not a Winter gal. If I were a snow bunny that loved to ski, skate, and didn't mind the cold, it would be all good. However, I am just I have been enjoying sitting in the Great Room with the fireplace on when I work. January is one of those very cold, kinda grey dreary months, so it certainly can affect my mood. Wearing some bright and cheery colors during the Winter can help put you in a better mood, so I styled my mustard yellow floral blouse with this Anthropologie cardigan I bought on Poshmark this year.
