Morning friends!Since I don't have my Fall weather exactly yet, what is another way to bring Fall into your wardrobe? Wearing Fall colors of course! Today I am sharing a casual look wearing two different pairs of shoes for a different look. Im incorporating some of my favorite Fall shades into this look- Olive and Grey.
Happy Turning Heads Tuesday friends!I can't believe it is mid-June already, but that does mean we are a bit closer to our beach vacation in July. Outer Banks, Baby!I may just bring this dress with me - packing it for a casual and comfortable day at the beach. This modal material is silky soft and it is an easy dress to wear. I love dresses in the summer and tend to love gold jewelry with neutral looks, adding warmth to the outfit.
I know for me, there comes a time when I am ready to do some Spring cleaning. Right about now. It is the time when I take my Winter/Fall clothes and pack them into the guest room closet, making room for new Spring items and either selling or donating clothes that have languished in my closet, or that I just am not fond of anymore. I've compiled a list of items I am looking for this season.
Morning FriendsIt was one of those semi-relaxing weekends along with errands and blog work. We visited our favorite wine bar, The Cottage, where the pups are more than welcome - and the "fur"-niture is equally dog friendly. We began going to The Cottage years ago, as it is beside one of our favorite restaurants on the Lake, North Harbour Club. We popped in on a whim one afternoon, looking for a cute place to sit and have just a glass of wine and enjoy the view of the harbour and various boats.The staff is so welcoming, we now tell the pups we are going to Grandma Trudys or to see Aunt Theresa. What? You don't talk to your dogs? :-) Regardless, it was a beautiful, cool night, with temps in the 70s and low humidity, and I would wear a very casual striped midi dress I bought from Target about 3 years ago.
Morning Friends-Hubby, pups and I decided to take a trip down to Freedom Park for this photo shoot. It is near one of the more popular green ways and often where my hubby walks the puppies while I am in PT. Not fair, I know.. me getting needled while he enjoys the outdoors! Anyway, I have had this Zara linen off white shirt dress for a few weeks and wanted to put together a look with neutrals. This week is all about whites and neutrals on the blog. Hello LadiesHow is your week going? I have been pretty busy. Doc's visits, cleaning, blog work, etc..I have been walking with hubby and the pups reguraly on the greenways that we have near our house. I enjoy walking, except when it is nearly 90 degrees. We have had a bit of a heat wave here in Charlotte, where there have been a few days in the high 80s to 90s. I am not a fan! Would like a fan.. just not one. Today my hair will be trimmed/cut and there will be a glaze/wash on it as I think about in the future possibly getting a LONG, angled bob. I dont know. I am always afraid to cut too much and seem to go through this each summer when the hair sticks to the back of one's head and the only hairstyles seem to be "the bun" or " the ponytail". I like the chignon, so I just need to look up ideas for styling in the heat. I don't think it will be anytime soon. Just a consideration.
