TGIF! How are things going the closer it gets to Christmas Ladies? We planned on putting up the tree last weekend, so here we are today planing to put up all of our decorations. Time just slipped away, and we have been busy, mostly like everyone I speak with. At least I have my puppies in their Santa Suits :-) I wanted to wear another of my velvet jackets to add more color, texture and silouette with this sweater dress.
Hello LadiesI mentioned that my husband, me and the pups were going to Asheville, NC to visit and see their 5th Annual Film Festival. We have attended 4, and make it an annual event for us. Asheville, NC is an artsy town, where music, dreadlocks, films, art, craftsmanship, all co-exist. We had a great time, and I would like to share it with you!
Happy Monday Ladies!I wasn't able to get to all the blogs last week, as we took an excursion with the pups to the Great Smoky Mountains, about a 3 hour drive and stayed in a place called the McKinley Edwards Inn. It was pet friendly, so we brought the pups. Our main plan to stay there was to enjoy the mountains, but mainly to ride a 1940's rail car called the Great Smoky Mountain Rail Road. More on that Wed. Today, I will introduce you to the area in which we stayed in Bryson City, NC.

My cafe colored sweater dress was begging to be worn, and so I decided to pair it with different shades of brown. This cashmere sweater dress is so soft and yet it needs something to add to its taupe-ish color. This relatively new leather jacket, by Andrew Marc seemed to add more intensity to the color scheme, as did the boots.I have always been a fan of Andrew Marc's leather jackets, and I just loved this color. Today it was very brrrrr here in Charlotte, NC, with the high of 32 degrees. I moved away from Pittsburgh to get away from cold! Anyhow, I went to physical therapy and prior to, took some quick pictures outside near this frozen pond, where I used to bike ride at 19mph or so.
