Hello friendsWell before I'm sweating "putty balls" ( my mom's saying! still don't know what it means ;-) ) I decided to wear my favorite jeans with one of my favorite off the shoulder floral tops. In the summer, I will mostly wear dresses, denim white shorts and my jean skirt, but from time to time, if we are going to be inside, whether it's for a casual dinner or at the movies, I may wear jeans.  Places here tend to crank the air conditioning in the summer. Not going for a full blown obvious red white and blue look, I opted for subtly with the top in navy , white,  and red within the floral design.

Morning friends! We have had some extra warm weather as of late, and i love to see the sun out! It really affects my mood, and feels quite good on my muscles. Have you been shopping for summer? I had this floral jumpsuit from Zara for about 6 months, as I bought it doing a rare Zara sale for a whopping $25 last year. ! I had been watching it for quite a while, but never clicked on buy. Finally, with nothing left but a few smalls, and at that price, I bought it and have been waiting to wear it with excitement!

Morning,I mentioned in a recent post- Not Interested in Shorts? Try a Denim Skirt for Summer, yet I also mentioned that I do enjoy wearing shorts from time to time in the heat. I bought this pair of white denim shorts from Loft last year, and it was time for me to get them out of my closet. In a previous post, I wrote about wearing yellow for your skin tone, and I just love it! It such a cheery, upbeat color for summer.

Morning ladies!Did you ever feel like the sun had something personal against you? I went out with the dogs for a walk, and it was sunny for about 5 minutes, and then hubby and i went out for a photoshoot and the 18 mile and hour winds,  and cold became the weather of the day.  Well, despite the cold and wind, I styled this look featuring my new Jambu Rio sandals in taupe.  Good morning ladies!Leopard is one of those prints that is so fun to wear, and I consider it a neutral. Pair it with solids, wear with stripes, color or other neutral tones and it is always so stylish. I have really got to loving it over the past several years as it seems a popular print with bloggers. Some leopard can look cheap or cheesy, so you have to look at the material or the style of product you are choosing.

Hello Friends,Let's talk about music and some fashionable rocker style today.. but first...Over the weekend we went to the Jazz Room, a smaller intimate venue in Charlotte, where we saw a pianist, Chad Lawson ,play Gershwin. Loved it! I am a lover of Jazz Standards and the tune "Let's Call the Whole Thing Off" was one of Gershwin's tunes the jazz band played at our wedding....it was supposed to be funny. I am sure by now you know that I graduated at Duquesne University's School of Music with a B.A in Guitar Performance, and Music Education. I went for further education a few years later to receive my M. Ed. My main interest began when I was 10, playing guitar. I still remember the first tune I learned-"Dust in the Wind".from .Kansas. I would later get books by John Denver and enjoyed playing folk and rock tunes. In high school and later, my inner rocker was released.... now, years later, I feel that with this outfit I am wearing...A long floral velvet kimono/duster, black jeans, and block heeled black booties, kind of gives off a "Stevie Nicks Vibe".

Good morning Ladies,I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend? Are you getting the house ready for the Holidays? I am looking forward to traveling to visit my in-laws and taking the puppies for the Holidays. It is typically an 11 hour drive, but since that is too tough for me, we make a pit stop at my brother's house overnight, and then only travel 3 hours the second day. That is do-able! We enjoyed an evening at one of our favorite wine bars on Friday, with some smooth and flavorful cherry noted Pinot Nior and some scrumptious sushi we picked up nearby. Today i am sharing with you another Holiday outfit, as I have wanted to pair blush pink and burgundy for a bit now, and I knew what pieces i was ready to style.
