Summer is right around the corner, and it already feels like it in this neck of the woods. I want to introduce you to a blogger friend, Tania, of 50 is not Old today. I am telling you, it is not! I always feel like, you are as old as you feel! ( there are some morning I wake up feeling like i'm 80) Tania is a Southern gal, who loves fashion and loves to talk about life and living in the mountains. This is the first year in about 3 years, that Spring hasn't immediately turned to Summer, here in Charlotte, NC. Typically, we may get two weeks of cooler weather and rain, and then Boom! It's 85 degrees in April. Well, Spring has been here, albeit more rain that I want, but cooler temps and flowers abound. I am wearing a thrifted Ann Taylor sheath dress styled with a bright floral scarf and white jacket, mixing prints in the process.
Mother Nature? Did you hear me? It is officially Spring, according to our calendar, and I expect some sun! Well, I try. It is slowly creeping its way here, isn't it? Well, for today's sake, our Stylish Monday ladies, including myself, styled what we think of as Spring.

Hello Friends!Thank you for being here for Turning Heads Tuesday! Oh my gosh, I can't tell you how stressed I was last week with the blog site going down. It was down all weekend and was going to take until Wednesday to restore! My data center and hosting site made mistakes and 1,000 sites were down, that they had to restore! I just don't have a ton of patience with technology, but there was nothing I could do. Hubby is in IT and he made the transition easier when there were glitches Wed morning. Anyhooo.. hopefully no more problems for awhile! Let's talk about LEOPARD LOVE!
Morning FriendsLet me first say, I am happy to be on-line and my blog tech issues behind me! Sometimes you don't know what you are missing until it's gone!I am in Harleysville, PA visiting relatives and spending some time . My hubby and I went to my nephew's Eagle Scout Ceremony and enjoyed seeing the kid's projects and talking to my in-laws. We will be back to NC later in the week. I think I am getting to old for these long car rides, as I hear myself saying out loud, my hips, my glutes! ... Fortunately we make a pit stop at my brothers in Springfield, VA and then the next day we make our way to PA. It is still 13 hours of driving.I have been showing some transitional looks with Fall trends and colors, but I get a tad impatient, and decided I would share a few of my Fall purchases even if it was warm outside. There is finally a bit of a chill. Mother Nature needs to wake up! Fall is here, officially! So, without further adieu, I bought this and only this moto jacket at the Norstrom Sale this year., I loved the burgundy suede color and knew it would go with so much in my closet.. I am showing several looks this week with leopard, as I just love this fun neutral that works with everything! 
Morning friends!It's HOT. H-O-T! This week here in Charlotte is unseasonally hotter than it has been over the summer. Let's put it this way, I may have been smiling as I do for photos, but my body was pouring sweat like an new born infant crying for his mommy! The blaring sun and heat, along with the high humidity, made it challenging as I thought about how my hair was sticking to the back of my head. I think you get it, HOT. I took this orange Zara shift dress out of my closet as I haven't worn it on the blog in awhile and I love the bright colors- the orange reminding me of the heat eminating from the sun- as well as it being a bright, rich color that I love any time of the year.
She stared at me from across the computer screen. Bright red flowers adorned her and the ruffled accented sleeves just made her more adorable in my eyes. I am talking about my new dress! Yes, I was browsing the Zara site as I often do several times a week, and saw this dress. If I keep going back to look at something, with interest, most often it is something that calls out to me. With a plentiful closet, this is how I am buying clothing these days, I HAVE TO LOVE IT- and I love it! and... there were a couple of birthday celebrations over the weekend too.
