Hello friends!I am so excited! Well, several days from now, we will be on our way to Taos, NM and will be staying at the El Monte Segrado Hotel, then off to Sante Fe for a few days. It is within walking distance to restaurants, things to do, shops. I am so excited to be going with my brother and sister in law, as we have wanted to take a trip together for awhile. I have never been there and look forward to seeing the historic sights, visiting the oldest vineyard, exploring the art in New Mexico, and at our...
Hello friends!Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a great weekend. It rained Friday and Saturday all day, with Sunday leaving us with sunshine and cool weather. We had to take advantage of it! We went to a new-old part of town, one of the historic districts and enjoyed Brunch at a pretty hip place! My inner 12 year old girl comes out when I can bring the pups and the place is Dog -Friendly. I decided I was going to make my rounds while I wait for breakfast and approach each cute puppy and their owner and ask "May I pet your puppy?" I just cant help myself. I am drawn to dogs! Anyhow, it turned out to be a lovely place we enjoyed. A New Adventure. Speaking of "adventure", I am here to tell you about the company I have collaborated with ( now the 3rd time) that is all about day to day adventure,
Hello LadiesThis is one of those transitional looks today as the temps cool a bit in Charlotte, NC. It is not as cool as I would like it to be! Well, between hot flashes and warm weather at night, I am ready for that chill in the Fall air, that briskness that allows me to pull the down comforter over my shoulders and cuddle with my pup, Gibson. I have to work with what I've got though! So, where I would certainly wear boots, some an Over the Knee boots with this camel mini, and also throw on some patterned tights, it is not there quite yet.

Hello ladies!Hard to believe September is coming to a close. However, here in NC it generally means a bit cooler temps in Oct to look forward to. How was your weekend? Today I was in the mood to style one of my Karina dresses for Fall and I chose this orange-red-olive-coblalt-yellow Paisley wrap dress as my foundation. Paisley, not floral :-) The bright colors culminating in a beautiful print really caught my eye and I would be styling this throughout the fall with boots, booties and layers. I did try a jersey brown long sleeve top under the dress, but it ended up a bit bulky, and I decided to go for a jacket instead. Wrap dresses, I find are flattering on every figure, and I do love the ease of it.. a pin is necessary on the lower half., especially during windy fall days! I love a military look and i am looking for a pair of olive booties! ...

Happy Monday Ladies,I find it hard to believe we are getting near October. Charlotte will experience Fall eventually, as the end of October presents a cooler air and some changing leaves. As much as I like wine, I look forward to some of the Octoberfest festivities in the area. We also have a trip planned for October I will tell you about later. Today, I am bringing to you , my collaboration with Eco-friendly company
