Hello friends!It is such a busy time of year! I am in charge of buying the gifts and I am doing most of my shopping online as always. We had a good time working on Christmas pictures with the puppies in their Santa suits .We are giving some framed photos as gifts. I am getting excited about seeing my mom and family in Pittsburgh, as we are going there for Christmas. Today I am sharing my outfit styled with burgundy and olive. Hello Ladies,A bit over a month and it will be Christmas! This time of year always goes by quickly as we plan for the all of the festivities, parties, getting together with family and shopping for Holiday gifts. I do most of my shopping on-line, however for some gifts, I love to shop at some stores nearby for gifts. Today, I am going to talk about what to wear holiday shopping when you are on the go, looking for gifts, trying on some festive wear for yourself, and taking a bit of a break in between while sipping some Gingerbread latte. I like to look put together when I am out, but also must be comfortable, if I am walking around shopping. Rockport, is a company I can count on for comfortable AND stylish shoes/boots. I don't have to sacrifice style for comfort, as this boot has both!
I do not go out on Black Friday. I avoid it like the Plague! One year, I do remember being at a Best Buy at 5 am, in Pittsburgh, freezing while waiting for a laptop that would never come. The claim to have "just run out" of the discounted item many of us were waiting for. I also didn't feel good about looking through the store as other people's elbows and shoulders ended up pushing their way through without an "excuse me" in sight. I thought, what is SO IMPORTANT that people are acting like this? I didn't feel right about being there, as there was NOTHING i needed so badly.Anyway, I do 98% of my shopping on-line, in my robe, with coffee in hand. I find it much less stressful. No crowds, lines, people running in different directions. I do end up going to Target for decor and boxed Cards. My main point is, to make it less stressful on yourself. Stress, eating poorly, sleeping poorly can take a toll during this Holiday Season.

One thing, however, about living in North Carolina, is that I don't need a winter coat until mid November, and sometimes not until the end of the month. Prior to NC. I lived in Pittsburgh, PA and needed that winter coat in September, as temps dipped into the freezing zone!
Hello friends! Hope you had a great weekend. I did early voting, so if you can, get out and vote. Hard to believe we are already in November and the Christmas commercials are playing on TV, all of the Holiday stockings and gift wrap etc, has been in stores for a bit now, and I start thinking about my holiday list for Gifts. Happy that I was able to pick up a couple in New Mexico, and will also be giving more "framed gifts" this year for family as well.
