leopard swing coatHello LadiesI know this skirt is familiar. A gold straight pencil skirt I wore last week. I wanted to do a remix with other textures and prints. In my closet, I have this perfectly matched monochromatic chunky sweater I wanted to wear to create this look. You are going to have to excuse the hair. It is rainy, humid, and for me, damp hair is about as bad as "bed head". So I just cropped my head out for this set, next time, a hair bun should do the trick!

IMG_5927Hello LadiesWell, here we are, and let's just say, I took a 180 and am wearing something you don't see me in often! I saw them on so many girls, I really had to go try them on . This wasn't a Christmas gift, just a purchase I havent had a chance to wear yet. You all know my style, more of Monday's post, with skirts or dresses, but I have been thinking I would like to wear some jeans, and when I tried these on, they were so comfortable and cool, I had to lay that plastic down!

IMG_5965 Happy Monday EveryoneHard to believe Christmas  has come and gone. All the preparing for it, and the excitement leading up to it can linger a bit, then the day is here and quickly over. However, we keep our tree up for a while, and also celebrate the New Year. My title refers to  Christmas Eve, when my husband gave me one gift to open. I know for many it is a tradition, and we do this on occasion. It was a Downton Abbey Christmas ornament of the car complete with Tom, the former chauffeur of the family.

IMG_5654Hello LadiesI hope everyone is ready for Christmas. It is time to be with family, enjoy and appreciate what we all have , and bring joy to our loved ones by giving gifts, and being together. We spend our Holidays at home in Charlotte. I like to dress in comfort, but dressy enough to go out for last minute activities. The great thing about this latest #Karinadress, is that it is wearbable all year. Ruby, a sleeveless style here, is styled by my red roses cardigan I wanted to pair with this paisley print.

IMG_5803Hello LadiesHow is everyone holding up? Are you one  to not let the holiday "madness" get a hold of you? I went into Charming Charlie today and felt the need to leave immediately! No, it wasn't that I came across a necklace with more colors than the rainbow, but rather, so many people, clusters of teenagers and ladies who looked hungry to find that "perfect " thing for the aunt, sister, themselves, mother etc.I think this is why I try and shop early, online and get it done in a reasonable time. Granted, not everyone lets the crowds bother them, but I find that I can't stand that long to begin with, and second, I don't like the hurried feeling I get this time of year. So, instead we took the dogs to "Barkdale" in their santa suits and they had a fun time, in a little heated room while we ate pizza and had some delicious Malbec.
