Teddy coats. Don't you just love the sound of that? What can be more appealing that the sound of a childhood favorite cozy toy, as an oversized nubby coat? Teddy coats were all the rage a few years ago, I am wearing an oversized one in which I layer underneath.

Yesterday I shared with you an Anthropolige tartan blazer I styled for a Fall look with my flare jeans. Today, I am sharing this plaid longline blazer that can be worn as a coat or blazer, depending on the weather. I found this beauty on ASOS and was excited to finally wear it with my AG skinny jeans and rich brown suede booties.
Morning Ladies!Sometimes i think I am an "Old Soul". I am not one to say my era is better for this and this, but I do love older swing and Big Band music. Nothing like the sound of a Big Band Orchestra to get your ready to dance. When hubby and I heard The Glenn Miller Orchestra would be coming to town, we were ready to Stop, Drop and Roll.... to get our tickets!We did however, just order them straightaway on-line. I have always loved jazz, swing, big band, particulary when I went to the School of Music for college. Later hubby and I would take swing dance lessons, which were so fun. One of the first Big Band songs i remember having on a 45 record was "In the Mood." But what was I 'in the mood" to wear?

I do remember growing up seeing the Tamburitzans, a Ukrainian Dance company, with intricate embroidered dance outfits and being quite taken with them.

The company creates "wearable art" by working with artists from around the world to create contemporary pieces that are bold, colorful and made in the USA. Being a former Music educator, I also loved the fact that Artteca supports and impacts young artists in Art Education. This is my 4th Look on a Series of Denim Trends. I am wearing a dressed up pair of dark wash flares, lace blouse with its detailed edges, and as it is a monochromatic look, brought in color with the Artteca silk scarf and shoes.
