Hi Ladies,"No really I have enough shoes- Said no girl EVER. " Have you ever heard anyone make this remark.? This does not apply to husbands.. just to the women who wear shoes. Ten years ago, my closet consisted of sneakers and some flats with orthotics. At the beginning of my Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome journey, I had so much sensitivity and pain in my legs that the thought of buying shoes was not on my mind. I just wanted something that didn't kill my feet. I am happy to say, that now I have more of a shoe collection, ones that are comfortable shoes AND stylish, and much of the pain in my legs and feet is dissipated, making me able to wear a variety of shoes. I have one word for you ladies- Jambu.
Hi friends!First, I want to thank you all for the well wishes, it means a lot. I have been faring better this week. We went to see "Hidden Figures" and I thought it was fantastic what the women were able to accomplish. I got all teary eyed. When I'm not going out, what keeps me entertained? Well, playing with my pups of course! We played Pillow Ball and Ball in the Blanket. Pillow Ball is when I hide a squeaky ball in between a stack of 4 pillows to be sniffed out, and B N B is kind of self explanatory. They do make me laugh!!Now, I know you must be thinking, "Is there something in Jess' water?"She's wearing jeans 2 weeks in a row! Well, I am still a skirts and dress girl, but love to try jeans every now and then, and boyfriend jeans are my favorite. Im hoping to style some more casual looks on the blog soon. But let's talk about stylish, comfy shoes for Spring!...
Hello friends!Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a great weekend. It rained Friday and Saturday all day, with Sunday leaving us with sunshine and cool weather. We had to take advantage of it! We went to a new-old part of town, one of the historic districts and enjoyed Brunch at a pretty hip place! My inner 12 year old girl comes out when I can bring the pups and the place is Dog -Friendly. I decided I was going to make my rounds while I wait for breakfast and approach each cute puppy and their owner and ask "May I pet your puppy?" I just cant help myself. I am drawn to dogs! Anyhow, it turned out to be a lovely place we enjoyed. A New Adventure. I like to share the various styles and looks that are fun for me and my interest in wearing a ruched style in a striped dress, fitted military jacket and cargo pants, white jeans with metallic slips ons or today's trendy look with the off the shoulder floral dress. I have also been buying a few more pairs of pants I have deemed comfortable enough for me to wear, and ones I have been eyeing, the straight ankle trouser. I am also sharing with you today a review of the Brookline Gladiator sandal from Jambu, a company I had collaborated with recently, and with whom I reviewed the Sugar Sandal.
