Happy Friday friends!I always love to hear about what the latest trends are for the year, in Fashion. Some are more wearable than others, but its always fun to see what I may want to incorporate or add to my closet if I choose something trendy. Let's look at what some of the major trends are for Spring/Summer 2019, and I'd love to hear from you if you would wear any of them.
Hi friends!I love a beret! After seeing berets on lots on different bloggers last year, I knew I should try one. That decision was solidified after I tried a cute red one on when we went to Francis Ford Coppola's Vineyard. I could try on some of the props, and I went for the beret. Who doesn't love to have fun with fashion and are tempted by hats?
I will say it. I am not a Winter gal. If I were a snow bunny that loved to ski, skate, and didn't mind the cold, it would be all good. However, I am just I have been enjoying sitting in the Great Room with the fireplace on when I work. January is one of those very cold, kinda grey dreary months, so it certainly can affect my mood. Wearing some bright and cheery colors during the Winter can help put you in a better mood, so I styled my mustard yellow floral blouse with this Anthropologie cardigan I bought on Poshmark this year.
Happy New Year!I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and New Years. We enjoyed ourselves at my moms and it was a bit of family Christmas Chaos, but in a good way! Dogs, kids, hours of opening presents, and lots of great food and family time. One of my gifts is this rust teddy bear coat that I love! I have looked for these coats for awhile and this color, with the larger lapels was so pretty! I love it. It is lighter than some of the faux fur leopard coats I have looked at, perfect for the NC winters.

When I was asked by Earth and Moon Design to choose a piece to feature, my eye went to this Chanel-inspired burgundy pearl necklace. This Mother- daughter team are creative artists who design the jewelry by hand. With the Holidays approaching, these would make a special gift for the lady who appreciates beautiful handcrafted jewelry.

I posted the Anais Maxi Dress and Slip as part of their Pre-Fall Arrivals, and now have several looks to share with you from their Fall line. Today, this plaid rust and brown dress, the Dorset Dress with a drop waist ,just caught my eye, as I don't have a lot of plaid in my closet, and it was time to remedy that! Why not do some pattern mixing with my shoes, as I fell in love with these Snakeskin boots.
