 IMG_0062IMG_0125Hello LadiesI hope you had a wonderful Christmas vacation! We did, and i will share some pics here and there of the pups and our tree. Santa was good to me, and all of us. I think back of all of the memories I  have, and it seems we need a larger tree due to all of the ornaments we collect and give at Christmas time. Truffles and Gibson went crazy over their doggie stocking as I had put in bags of Zuke Salmon treats, squeaky balls and toys. Santapaws brought them coats to, and those pics will come later, as the weather even on Christmas day was 72 degrees!! I have yet to wear a winter coat in NC. Hubby was sick part of the day, but it was a nice relaxing time as well and I look forward to reading about your Holiday.Today, I am excited to bring to you another post of me styling this wonderful jewelry by Mother and Daughter team, Sylca Designs. This burgundy shell layered necklace caught my eye and as I continued to look, I kept coming back, as  i love the bold look and of course, the color,  made from eco-friendly material, in this case, shells. It is a piece that can be worn dressy, in such a manner that i am sharing here, or just as easily with jeans and a blouse, a bit more dressed down. The earring match, and they have the weight of metal but are made just like the necklace.

IMG_0043IMG_0042Hello Ladies!10 more days  until Christmas! I am like a kid when it comes to Christmas Day, minus the usual getting up at 5 am to see what Santa brought me. No! Since Gibby and Truffles do not know any better, they do not pat me with their paws in the morning,  saying "Mommy, Mommy, SantaPaws came! TIme to wake up!" I put them in their Santa Suits and we make our way downstairs. We make it a leisurely morning, brew the coffee, have the smell of pastries or bagels in the air, and take our time. We do not make it arduous and open one gift, tenderly picking at the paper as if to save it, but we don't exactly tear in to the gifts not knowing what each other was given!! The pups do have their own stockings which resemble a puppies face and they are ready when I put the stockings on the floor to stick their whole head in to find the puppy treats. I do love giving gifts! I need to master the art of wrapping a bit more, but the bar was set high by my mother in law! I have always been excited for Christmas and giving gifts. I love decorating the tree, and over the weekend we went a bit wild, and Michaels going in for two items like gift bags and tape, only to leave with a cartful of garland, ribbon for the tree, ornaments and more.

We bring the pumpkin pie and wine. Lots of memories with Thanksgiving. Usually growing up it was the big table, the little table, lots of food,  getting tired, and football. Hearing my dad during the Steelers Game a few blocks down the street, Beautiful fall weather. Food. More food.

 IMG_9822Hello Ladies, I hope you all had a great weekend, as the Holidays draw nearCan I tell you about my "fun times" as of late!  LAST Thursday morning, it seems in the wee hours, there was a Crawler scouring my site. . lets just say it did it enough to cause the CPU usage to skyrocket and have my site down.. I right away think "hacker!" what do you want with a fashion blog? Arent their more interesting things to do with your time.. well fast forward about an hour and hubby solves the mystery Yes , he is my awesome  computer nerd!  Brilliant! So my computer, in fact, did not get hurled out the window or anywhere else I might decide, as patience is not my virtue. So.... I  wll move on!

IMG_9793IMG_9784Happy #turningheadtuesday! LadiesGlad to see you here. I had a good time going out with the pups and hubby , this week and we took photos, even though I thought I was going to be blown away! Who needs fans when the wind is blowing at 65 miles an hour! Well, my hair went  here, there and everywhere. The meal was so good though! It was great to get out and I enjoyed a Malbec with a delicious portobello mushroom, roasted red pepper, pesto,and Guyere cheese sandwich on Chibatta bread. So.. tasty! I love my veggie sandwiches.! I had to laugh though as we were the only ones sitting outside with the dogs at 4:00 in the afternoon. I admit I am a wimp when it comes to wind and cold, but here in the South, it is nothing like my hometown of PA, so I dont complain!

Hello Ladies!I began to create a monochromatic look today, inspired by burgundy or wine shades, but then thought of the color combination I liked together, navy and burgundy. I began with a monochromatic look with the dark burgundy  skinny leggings by Zara, and one of my favorite jackets that I "stole the  stole"  from for my outfit last week. Tweed is one of my favorite fabrics for fall, and this jacket and its feminine shape was my choice of the day. I took out my pointy croc boots, you have seen and I have worn plenty of times so far...
