Hello Ladies,First I want to thank you for the well wishes last week. We had a great time at my relatives house and the weather was just right most days. It was a nice change of pace and visit. I'm trying to get a bit caught up on the blog, as when I take a break, I do like to stay off the computer and only post on certain socials, giving me some "time off". I styled  a more casual look yesterday and wrote about how a piece of statement jewelry can amplify a casual look. I have chosen one of my favorite pieces of bling to style this dressy look today.

Hello Friends,Well, I had a nice but busy weekend. We did get to enjoy the 82 degree temps on Saturday as we made our way to a new Vineyard. I hope to write some posts on our vineyard hopping throughout the summer as it would be a great way for me to note certain wines and how we enjoyed each place. Yesterday I wrote about choosing gifts for Mother's Day via Uno Alla Volta, so if you are looking for a one of a kind piece , check out my post HERE.

Hello FriendsThis has to be one of my favorite skirts. I don't usually gravitate toward stripes, but I love the sides of this skirt designed at an angle to draw the eye inward. I've bought a couple of  striped spring items, but they have to have some unique detail that attractes me to it.One can never have too many pencil skirts! They are classic and perfect for any shape. I found this skirt on Poshmark from Ann Taylor for a mere $20 and it was like new! I also bought this Zara Victorian-esque like top in black lace from Poshmark....

Hello friendsGlad to be back but had an amazing time visiting my brother and sis in law in DC. This was long overdue, as I hadn't seen their condo and wanted to visit the area. We initially went to see and take pictures of the blooming Sakura trees (cherry blossoms) but they had a freeze and snow prior to, causing them to freeze and not bloom. Not one cherry tree! My brother said "we made history" and that this has not happened before.  Nevertheless, we had a great time visiting the monuments, and I found the WWII Memorial particuarly impressive. We did have lunch at the Willard,  and I had a "Blossom Martini" if that counts, in one of the oldest hotel in the area. The woodwork and round bar had a nostalgic feeling to it. The bar was the Round Robin.

Hello friends,Well, it has been one of those weeks! I am usually "on the ball" when it comes to posts, but I was running behind lately. I had Dry Needling PT yesterday, and had to come home and do photos for the blog. Usually, it is all about the Epsom Salt bath and a heating pad, after those hypodermic needles go in and out of my tensed up, trigger point riddled body, but I suppose "you gotta do, what you gotta do" sometimes, right? Before I get into what I am wearing today, I want to mention I am quite pleased with how my makeup has been looking for pictures. I have tried some new products from Sephora lately, and if you missed my post, see it HERE.

Hi Friends!Happy Valentine's Day! I do have to say, we don't usually make a big deal out of it, but we did enjoy an event at near-by Raylan Vineyards this weekend. Wine, truffles, food were all a part of the festivities and you don't need to ask me twice if I want to go! We took the puppies after their grooming day, in their red bandanas, and I was so excited to be out with them sitting outside! One step closer to nicer weather, perhaps.     I am hoping to do some Vineyard reviews and posts on the blog this year, as I have mentioned in the past, we have 90+ vineyards in the NC area, plenty around us and we enjoy bopping around.

Hello friends!I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and New Years Holiday. I went to my mom's house in Pittsburgh and we took the pups all ready in their Santa Suits.  We had an amazing time, and it was truly a Doggy- Filled Christmas, as we had Pedro, Jack, Gibson and Truffles. Christmas morning was a bit chaotic, but in a fun way! Pedro, a dark haired lovable rescue dog, loves to tear open presents. Gibson and Truffles like to stick their heads in their stocking as they smell treats, and Jack was wandering around seeing what all the...
